And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning

I will provide a place where my people Israel can live. I will plant them in the land. Then they will have a home of their own. They will not be bothered anymore. Sinful people will no longer crush them, as they did at first.

And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall waste them no more, as formerly,

過了多年，埃及王死了。以色列人受盡奴役，就哀歎呼求，聲音傳到上帝那裡。

不要被虛空的道理欺騙，因為上帝的烈怒必臨到上述那些悖逆的人。

從前，耶和華向以色列顯現，說：「我以永遠不變的愛愛你，我以慈愛吸引你到我身邊。以色列人啊，我要重建你們的家園，你們要再次拿起鈴鼓與歡樂的人一同跳舞。你們將在撒瑪利亞的山上重新栽種葡萄園，享受園中的果實。有一天，看守園子的人要在以法蓮的山上呼喊，『我們上錫安朝見我們的上帝耶和華吧！』」耶和華說：「你們要為雅各歡呼歌唱，向列國之首喝采。你們要傳揚頌讚，說，『耶和華啊，求你拯救以色列剩餘的子民！』看啊，我要從北方，從地極招聚他們，其中有瞎子、跛子、孕婦和產婦，他們要成群結隊地回到這裡。我必引領他們回來，他們必一路含淚禱告。我要使他們走在溪水邊，行在平坦的路上，他們必不會跌倒，因為我是以色列的父親，以法蓮是我的長子。「列國啊，你們要聽耶和華的話，要在遠方的海島宣揚，『祂從前驅散以色列人，如今必再聚集、保護他們，好像牧人看守自己的羊群一樣。』耶和華必拯救雅各的子孫，從強敵手中救出他們。他們必來到錫安山上歡呼，為耶和華所賜的五穀、新酒、油、羔羊和牛犢而歡欣。他們就像水源充足的田園，一無所缺。

上帝要擦乾他們所有的眼淚，再沒有死亡、憂傷、哭泣和痛苦，因為以前的事都已成過去。」

我要眷顧他們，帶他們回到這裡。我要使他們興起，不再毀滅他們；我要栽培他們，不再剷除他們；

但你們今後必不再吞吃以色列人，不再奪走他們的兒女。這是主耶和華說的。我必不再使你們聽見外族人的辱罵和嘲笑，也不再使你們的國民喪失子女。這是主耶和華說的。』」

那時，你們隨從今世的風俗，順服在空中掌權的魔鬼，就是如今在一切叛逆上帝之人心中運行的邪靈。我們以前也在他們當中隨從罪惡的本性，放縱肉體和心中的私慾，與其他人一樣本是惹上帝發怒的人。

以華冠取代錫安哀傷者頭上的灰塵，以喜樂的膏油取代他們的哀傷，以頌讚的外袍取代他們的沮喪。他們將被稱為耶和華所栽種的公義橡樹，以彰顯祂的榮耀。

你國中再沒有暴力，境內再沒有破壞和毀滅的事；你必給你的城牆取名叫『拯救』，給你的城門取名叫『讚美』。

你親手趕出外族，把我們的祖先安置在那裡；你擊潰列邦，使我們的祖先興旺發達。

仇敵勝不過他，惡人不能欺壓他。

你憑智慧和頭腦發了財，金銀裝滿了你的庫房。

你的兒女必很快回來，毀滅和破壞你的必離你而去。
