That is what your enemies have done ever since I appointed leaders over my people Israel. But I will bring all your enemies under your control.“‘ “I tell you that I, the Lord, will build a royal house for your family.

從我吩咐士師治理我子民以色列的日子以來，他們一直被苦待。我要使你安定，脫離一切仇敵。「『耶和華向你宣告：耶和華將為你建造家室。

我要在他面前打碎他的敵人，我要擊打那些恨他的人。

當時在以色列全地找不到一個鐵匠，因為非利士人說：「恐怕希伯來人製造刀劍或長矛。」所以，以色列人都下到非利士人那裡去，磨利他們的鋤頭、犁頭、斧頭和鏟子。

非利士人聚集起來，要與以色列爭戰，他們有戰車三千輛、馬兵六千，人多如海邊的沙粒。他們上來，在伯亞文東邊的米克瑪紮營。以色列人看見形勢危急，處境窘迫，軍兵就躲藏在洞穴裡、叢林中、巖石間、地窖裡和坑裡。

因為基督必須做王，直到神把所有的敵人都放在他的腳下。

耶和華對我主宣告：「你坐在我的右邊，等我使你的仇敵作你的腳凳。」

你的手找出你一切的仇敵，你的右手找出那些恨你的人。當你出現的時候，你要使他們如同燃燒的火爐；耶和華必在他的怒氣中吞滅他們，他的烈火必把他們吞噬。

如果不是耶和華建造房屋，建造的人就枉然勞苦；如果不是耶和華看守城池，看守的人就枉然警醒。

你使我的仇敵在我面前轉身而逃，我把那些恨我的人除盡。他們呼救，卻沒有人拯救；他們向耶和華呼救，他也不回應。我搗碎他們，如同風前的塵土；我倒出他們，如同街上的爛泥。你救我脫離民眾的紛爭，立我作列國之首，連我不認識的民也服事我。他們風聞了我，就順從我；外邦人向我卑躬屈膝。外邦人聞風喪膽，戰戰兢兢地從他們的營寨中出來。耶和華永遠活著！我的磐石是當受頌讚的！願拯救我的神受尊崇！這位神，他是為我復仇的那一位，他使萬民降服在我之下。你救我脫離我的仇敵；是的，你舉起我高過那些起來敵對我的人，你又解救我脫離殘暴的人。因此我要在列國中稱謝你，耶和華啊，我要歌頌你的名！耶和華賜偉大的救恩給他所立的王，施慈愛給他的受膏者，就是大衛和他的後裔，直到永遠。
