Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou[ art] the LORD God,[ even] thou only.

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called[ to be] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as[ do] thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for[ he is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.We will not hide[ them] from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:That the generation to come might know[ them, even] the children[ which] should be born;[ who] should arise and declare[ them] to their children:

That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
