又分給眾人，就是分給以色列全體群眾，無論男女，每人一個餅、一個棗餅、一個葡萄乾餅；然後眾人就各歸各家去了。大衛回去要給自己的家人祝福。掃羅的女兒米甲出來迎見大衛，說：“以色列王今天多麼榮耀啊！他今天竟在眾臣僕的婢女眼前，赤身露體，就像一個卑賤的人無恥地露體一樣。”

如果你們認為事奉耶和華不好，那麼今日你們就可以選擇你們所要事奉的：是你們列祖在大河那邊事奉的神呢，還是你們現在所住亞摩利人之地的神呢？至於我和我家，我們必事奉耶和華。”

到了第八天，王遣散了眾人；眾人都祝福過王以後，就高高興興地回自己的家去。他們因為看見耶和華向他僕人大衛和他子民以色列所施的一切恩惠，心中都感到歡喜。

我揀選了他﹙“揀選”直譯是“認識”。﹚，是要他吩咐子孫，和他的家屬，遵守我耶和華的道，秉公行義，好叫我耶和華應許亞伯拉罕的話都可實現。”

我要小心謹慎行正直的路；你甚麼時候才到我這裡來呢？我要在我的家中，以正直的心行事。
