又分给众人，就是分给以色列全体群众，无论男女，每人一个饼、一个枣饼、一个葡萄干饼；然后众人就各归各家去了。大卫回去要给自己的家人祝福。扫罗的女儿米甲出来迎见大卫，说：“以色列王今天多么荣耀啊！他今天竟在众臣仆的婢女眼前，赤身露体，就像一个卑贱的人无耻地露体一样。”

如果你们认为事奉耶和华不好，那么今日你们就可以选择你们所要事奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边事奉的神呢，还是你们现在所住亚摩利人之地的神呢？至于我和我家，我们必事奉耶和华。”

到了第八天，王遣散了众人；众人都祝福过王以后，就高高兴兴地回自己的家去。他们因为看见耶和华向他仆人大卫和他子民以色列所施的一切恩惠，心中都感到欢喜。

我拣选了他﹙“拣选”直译是“认识”。﹚，是要他吩咐子孙，和他的家属，遵守我耶和华的道，秉公行义，好叫我耶和华应许亚伯拉罕的话都可实现。”

我要小心谨慎行正直的路；你什么时候才到我这里来呢？我要在我的家中，以正直的心行事。
