He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

He made it stand as a law for Jacob. He made it stand as a covenant for Israel. It will last forever.

which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,

And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

and confirmed to Jacob as a decree, and to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

He gave it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as a lasting promise,

He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

And God said unto him, I[ am] God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

And ye went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand.And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you,[ even] the two kings of the Amorites;[ but] not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you,[ even] the sure mercies of David.

They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law;

Although my house[ be] not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all[ things], and sure: for[ this is] all my salvation, and all[ my] desire, although he make[ it] not to grow.
