As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.”

Listen for the sound of marching in the tops of the trees. Then move out to fight. The sound will mean that I have gone out in front of you. I will strike down the Philistine army.”

And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.”

When you hear a sound like marching feet in the tops of the poplar trees, go out and attack! That will be the signal that God is moving ahead of you to strike down the Philistine army.”

听啊！山上有喧哗的声音，好像是众多的人民；听啊！有多国的人的嘈杂声，好像是列国聚集在一起。万军之耶和华正在数点军兵，预备打仗。

忽然有一阵好像强风吹过的响声，从天而来，充满了他们坐在里面的整间屋子。

这样看来，我所亲爱的，你们素来是顺服的，（不但我在你们那里的时候是这样，现今我不在，你们更要顺服，）就应当恐惧战兢地作成自己的救恩。神为了成全自己的美意，就在你们里面动工，使你们可以立志和行事。

当夜，耶和华对基甸说：“起来，下去攻营，因为我已经把他们交在你手里了。

底波拉对巴拉说：“你起来吧，因为今日就是耶和华把西西拉交在你手里的日子；耶和华不是在你前面出战吗？”于是巴拉和跟随他的一万人从他泊山下来。

看哪，我要使他的心惊颤（“使他的心惊颤”原文作“放一个灵在他里面”），他将听见消息，就退回自己的地方去；我要使他在自己的国土倒在刀下。’”

如果他们对我们这样说：‘你们站住！等我们到你们那里去。’我们就站在原地，不上他们那里去。如果他们对我们这样说：‘你们上到我们这里来吧！’我们就上去，这就是我们的凭据，因为耶和华已经把他们交在我们的手里了。”他们二人就让非利士人的驻军看见。非利士人说：“看哪！有希伯来人从他们躲藏的洞里出来了。”驻军中有人应声对约拿单和替他拿武器的人说：“你们上我们这里来吧！我们有一件事要告诉你们。”约拿单对替他拿武器的人说：“你跟我上去，因为耶和华已经把他们交在以色列人的手里了。”约拿单手脚并用地爬了上去，替他拿武器的人跟着他。非利士人在约拿单面前倒下，替他拿武器的也跟在后面把他们杀死。约拿单和替他拿武器的第一次杀敌，约杀死了二十人，都是在四分之一公顷的范围内杀的。于是在营房里，在田野中和在众人中间，都有恐慌，驻军和突击队也都恐惧，地也震动，这是从神而来的恐惧。在便雅悯的基比亚，扫罗的瞭望兵看见非利士人的大军溃败，四处逃窜。于是扫罗对跟随他的众民说：“你们数点一下，看看谁从我们这里出去了。”他们一数点，就发现约拿单和替他拿武器的不在那里。扫罗对亚希亚说：“把神的约柜运来！”因为那时神的约柜在以色列人那里。扫罗正对祭司说话的时候，非利士营中的骚乱越来越大，扫罗就对祭司说：“住手吧！”扫罗和所有跟随他的人就聚集起来，到了战场，就看见非利士人用刀互相击杀，十分混乱。那些从前归顺非利士人的希伯来人，就是混杂在营里与非利士人一起上来的，现在也转过来，与那些跟从扫罗和约拿单的以色列人在一起。那些躲藏在以法莲山地的以色列众人一听见非利士人逃跑，也就在战场上紧紧追赶他们。

至于你们剩下的人，我必使他们在仇敌之地胆战心惊；风吹落叶也会吓跑他们；他们必逃跑，好像逃避刀剑一样；虽然无人追赶，他们却跌倒。

“我耶和华所膏立的古列，我紧握着他的右手，使列国降服在他面前；我也松开列王的腰带；我使门户在他面前敞开，使城门不得关闭；耶和华对古列这样说：我必亲自领导你，把高低不平的路修平；铜门，我必打破；铁门，我必砍断。

基甸听见了这梦的叙述和梦的讲解，就敬拜神；然后返回以色列营中，说：“起来，因为耶和华已经把米甸的军队交在你们手里了。”

雅各家啊！我必召集你们所有的人，聚集以色列的余民；我要把他们安置在一起，像羊在羊圈里，像群羊远离了人，在草场上喧哗。开路的人领先上去；他们开路，闯门进入，又从门里出来；他们的王在他们面前走过，耶和华领导他们。

因为主使亚兰人的军队听见战车、战马和大军的声音；他们就彼此说：“看哪，一定是以色列王雇用了赫人的众王和埃及人的众王来攻击我们。”
