So David asked God,“ Should I go out to fight the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The Lord replied,“ Yes, go ahead. I will hand them over to you.”

大衛諮諏上帝曰、我往攻非利士人可否、爾付之於我手乎、耶和華曰、往哉、我必付之於爾手、

大闢問耶和華曰、非利士人、我當往攻之乎、爾其以彼付我手乎。耶和華曰、往哉、我必付彼於爾手。

大衛問天主曰、我上而攻非利士人、可乎、主以彼付於我手乎、主諭大衛曰、可上、我必以彼付於爾手、

so David inquired of God:“ Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?” The Lord answered him,“ Go, I will deliver them into your hands.”

So David asked God for advice. David asked,“ Should I go and attack the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The Lord answered him,“ Go. I will hand them over to you.”

And David inquired of God,“ Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you give them into my hand?” And the Lord said to him,“ Go up, and I will give them into your hand.”

so David inquired of God,“ Should I attack the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The LORD replied,“ Attack, and I will hand them over to you.”

David inquired of God, saying,“ Shall I go up against the Philistines? And will You hand them over to me?” Then the Lord said to him,“ Go up, for I will hand them over to you.”

And David inquired of God, saying,“ Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” The Lord said to him,“ Go up, for I will deliver them into your hand.”

And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thy hand.

so David inquired of God,“ Should I go to war against the Philistines? Will You hand them over to me?” The Lord replied,“ Go, and I will hand them over to you.”

And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.

David asked God,“ Should I march up against the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The LORD said to him,“ March up! I will hand them over to you!”

David inquired of God, saying,“ Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” Yahweh said to him,“ Go up; for I will deliver them into your hand.”

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

And once again David asked God what to do.“ Do not attack them straight on,” God replied.“ Instead, circle around behind and attack them near the poplar trees.

David asked the Lord,“ Should I go and attack them?”“ Yes, go and save Keilah,” the Lord told him.But David’s men said,“ We’re afraid even here in Judah. We certainly don’t want to go to Keilah to fight the whole Philistine army!”So David asked the Lord again, and again the Lord replied,“ Go down to Keilah, for I will help you conquer the Philistines.”

When Micaiah arrived before the king, Ahab asked him,“ Micaiah, should we go to war against Ramoth gilead, or should we hold back?” Micaiah replied sarcastically,“ Yes, go up and be victorious, for the Lord will give the king victory!”But the king replied sharply,“ How many times must I demand that you speak only the truth to me when you speak for the Lord?”Then Micaiah told him,“ In a vision I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, like sheep without a shepherd. And the Lord said,‘ Their master has been killed. Send them home in peace.’”

But David learned of Saul’s plan and told Abiathar the priest to bring the ephod and ask the Lord what he should do.Then David prayed,“ O Lord, God of Israel, I have heard that Saul is planning to come and destroy Keilah because I am here.Will the leaders of Keilah betray me to him? And will Saul actually come as I have heard? O Lord, God of Israel, please tell me.” And the Lord said,“ He will come.”Again David asked,“ Will the leaders of Keilah betray me and my men to Saul?” And the Lord replied,“ Yes, they will betray you.”

After this, David asked the Lord,“ Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?”“ Yes,” the Lord replied. Then David asked,“ Which town should I go to?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

Then David asked the Lord,“ Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?” And the Lord told him,“ Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!”

It is time to bring back the Ark of our God, for we neglected it during the reign of Saul.”

So David asked the Lord,“ Should I go out to fight the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The Lord replied to David,“ Yes, go ahead. I will certainly hand them over to you.”

One day she sent for Barak son of Abinoam, who lived in Kedesh in the land of Naphtali. She said to him,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, commands you: Call out 10,000 warriors from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun at Mount Tabor.And I will call out Sisera, commander of Jabin’s army, along with his chariots and warriors, to the Kishon River. There I will give you victory over him.”

So the king of Israel summoned the prophets, about 400 of them, and asked them,“ Should I go to war against Ramoth gilead, or should I hold back?” They all replied,“ Yes, go right ahead! The Lord will give the king victory.”

And again David asked the Lord what to do.“ Do not attack them straight on,” the Lord replied.“ Instead, circle around behind and attack them near the poplar trees.
