大衛出去和他們見面，跟他們應對說：『你們若是和和平平地到我這裏來幫助我，我就和你們一心一意；但你們若將我這手無強暴的人騙在敵人手裏，那麼願我們列祖的上帝察看而斷定是非。』

大衛出迓曰、爾若平和而來以助我、則我心與爾相契、我既無辜、爾若鬻我於敵、願我列祖之上帝鑒察之、譴責之、

大闢出迓、告曰、如爾心懷平康、欲來助我、則我與爾和好。如欲欺我、付無辜於敵手、則望列祖之上帝、加以督責。

大衛出迎、謂之曰、爾來意若平善、欲助我、則我願與爾結盟、如欲欺我、將我無辜者付於敵手、願我列祖之天主、鑒察加責、

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in peace to help me, I am ready for you to join me. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when my hands are free from violence, may the God of our ancestors see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them. He said to them,“ Have you come to me in peace? Have you come to help me? If you have, I’m ready for you to join me. But suppose you have come to hand me over to my enemies when I haven’t even harmed anyone. Then may the God of our people see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in friendship to help me, my heart will be joined to you; but if to betray me to my adversaries, although there is no wrong in my hands, then may the God of our fathers see and rebuke you.”

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you have come in peace to help me, we are friends. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when I am innocent, then may the God of our ancestors see it and punish you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if ye be come to betray me to mine adversaries, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if[ ye be come] to betray me to mine enemies, seeing[ there is] no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look[ thereon], and rebuke[ it].

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you come to me in peace and want to help me, then I will make an alliance with you. But if you come to betray me to my enemies when I have not harmed you, may the God of our ancestors take notice and judge!”

David went out to meet them, and answered them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if you have come to betray me to my adversaries, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers see this and rebuke it.”

耶和華啊，求你在怒氣中起來！求你挺身而起對抗我敵人的盛怒，求你為我醒來！你已經下令施行審判。

押尼珥帶著二十個人，來到希伯崙見大衛，大衛就為押尼珥和隨同他的人擺設宴席。押尼珥對大衛說：「讓我動身，去把全體以色列人都招集到我主我王這裡，讓他們與你立約，這樣你就可以照著自己的心願統治一切。」於是大衛送押尼珥走，他就平安地離開了。看哪，大衛的臣僕和約押出擊回來了，帶著許多戰利品。那時押尼珥不在希伯崙大衛那裡，因為大衛已經把他送走，他也平安地離開了。約押和隨同的全軍到達後，有人告訴約押說，尼珥的兒子押尼珥曾來過王這裡，王已經把他送走，他也平安地離開了。約押來見王，說：「你做了什麼呢？看哪，押尼珥來見你，你為什麼把他送走呢？他竟然離開了！你知道尼珥的兒子押尼珥，他來是要引誘你，要了解你的出入，了解你的一切行動。」

願耶和華按著各人的公義和信實回報他！因為耶和華今天把你交在了我手中，我卻不願意對耶和華的受膏者下手。看哪，今天我怎樣重視你的性命，願耶和華也怎樣重視我的性命，願他解救我脫離一切患難！」

只是你們行事為人要配得上基督的福音，好讓我無論是來見你們，還是不在你們那裡的時候，都可以聽到有關你們的事，就是你們懷有一個心志站立得穩，同心合意地為福音的信仰一起奮戰；

願亞伯拉罕的神和拿鶴的神，就是他們父親的神，在你我之間做判斷。」雅各就指著他父親以撒所敬畏的那一位起誓。

弟兄們，我藉著我們主耶穌基督的名，懇求你們大家言語一致；你們中間不要分裂，而要在同一個心思、同一個目的上得以完備。

耶和華啊，求你把你的道路指示給我，我要行走在你的真理中！求你使我一心敬畏你的名。

我父啊，請看！看看你外袍的衣擺就在我手中！我割下了你外袍的衣擺，卻沒有殺你。你要知道，也要看見我的手中沒有惡行或叛逆。儘管你在獵取我的性命，我卻沒有得罪你。「願耶和華在你我之間做判斷，願耶和華在你身上為我施行報應，但我的手絕不敵對你。正如古時的箴言所說：『惡事出於惡人』，我的手絕不敵對你。以色列王出來追趕誰呢？你在追逐誰呢？是在追一條死狗、一隻跳蚤啊！願耶和華作審斷者，在你我之間做判斷。願他察看，為我辯護，救我脫離你的手。」當大衛對掃羅說完了這些話，掃羅就說：「我兒大衛，這是你的聲音嗎？」然後掃羅放聲大哭。他對大衛說：「你比我公義，因為你以善待我，我卻以惡待你。

於是撒母耳照耶和華所吩咐的去做，來到伯利恆。那城的長老們戰戰兢兢地迎接他，問：「你是為平安而來的嗎？」

即使是天使長米迦勒，當他與魔鬼爭辯，為摩西的屍體爭論的時候，也不敢用毀謗的話定它的罪，只說：「願主責備你！」

耶和華啊，求你拯救！因為忠信的人不存在了，忠實的人從世人中消失了。人人向鄰舍說謊，他們說話油嘴滑舌，心懷二意。

約拿單與大衛結為盟友，因為他愛大衛如同愛自己的性命。

要不是我父親的神，亞伯拉罕的神，以撒所敬畏的那一位與我同在，你現在一定會打發我空手而去。神看到我的苦情和我手上的辛勞，就在昨夜責備了你。」

大衛和掃羅說完了話以後，約拿單的心就與大衛的心相契合，約拿單愛他如同愛自己的性命。

於是那一群信徒都同心合意，沒有一個人說他所擁有的哪樣東西是自己的；相反，他們凡物共有。

他被辱罵的時候，不還口；受苦害的時候，不說威嚇的話，而是把自己交託給以公義施行審判的那一位。

耶和華對撒旦說：「撒旦哪，耶和華斥責你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你！這人難道不是從火中得解救的一根燃燒的木柴嗎？」

最後，弟兄們，你們要歡喜！願你們得以完全，願你們得到安慰！你們要同心合意，要彼此和睦。這樣，慈愛與平安的神就會與你們同在。
