这样，扫罗死了。因为他干犯耶和华，没有遵守耶和华的命；又因他求问交鬼的妇人，

这样，扫罗为了他的不忠死了；因为他干犯耶和华，没有遵守耶和华的话，又因他求问招魂的妇人，

扫罗死了，因为他对耶和华不忠，不听从祂的教诲，甚至去求问灵媒，

扫罗死了，因为他悖逆耶和华，没有听从他的话，也因为他去求问那交鬼的，

這樣，掃羅死了。因為他干犯耶和華，沒有遵守耶和華的命；又因他求問交鬼的婦人，

這樣，掃羅為了他的不忠死了；因為他干犯耶和華，沒有遵守耶和華的話，又因他求問招魂的婦人，

這樣，掃羅為了他的不忠死了；因為他干犯耶和華，沒有遵守耶和華的話，又因他求問招魂的婦人，

掃羅死了，因為他對耶和華不忠，不聽從祂的教誨，甚至去求問靈媒，

掃羅死了，因為他悖逆耶和華，沒有聽從他的話，也因為他去求問那交鬼的，

這樣、掃羅死了、是為了他所犯對永恆主不忠實的罪，為了永恆主的話的緣故、就是他所沒有遵守的；也是因為他去尋問去請示交鬼的，

夫掃羅之死、因其干犯耶和華、不遵其命、且請示於憑鬼者、

掃羅犯罪、違耶和華命、不詢於耶和華、乃問於憑卜神者、故耶和華殺之、移其國祚、以畀耶西之子大闢。

如是、掃羅死、因其獲罪於主、不遵守主命、且因問交鬼之婦、而不詢主、主殺之、移其國歸耶西子大衛、

Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance,

Saul died because he wasn’t faithful to the Lord. He didn’t obey the word of the Lord. He even asked for advice from a person who gets messages from people who have died.

So Saul died for his breach of faith. He broke faith with the Lord in that he did not keep the command of the Lord, and also consulted a medium, seeking guidance.

So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord. He failed to obey the Lord’s command, and he even consulted a medium

Saul died for his unfaithfulness to the LORD because he did not keep the LORD’s word. He even consulted a medium for guidance,

So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he committed against the Lord, because of the word of the Lord which he did not keep; and also because he asked counsel of a medium, making inquiry of her,

So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, because he did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.

So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against Jehovah, because of the word of Jehovah, which he kept not; and also for that he asked counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire thereby,

So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD and did not obey the LORD’s instructions; he even tried to conjure up underworld spirits.

So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against Yahweh, because of Yahweh’s word, which he didn’t keep; and also because he asked counsel of one who had a familiar spirit, to inquire,

要知道，悖逆如同占卜的罪，顽梗就像拜偶像的恶。你既然厌弃耶和华的话，耶和华也厌弃你作王。”

撒母耳对扫罗说：“你做了愚蠢的事！你没有遵守耶和华你的神所吩咐你的诫命。不然，耶和华就会坚立你在以色列的王权到永远了；但如今，你的王权不会长久了，耶和华已经为自己找到一个合乎他心意的人，耶和华任命这人作他子民的领袖，因为你不遵守耶和华吩咐你的。”

扫罗就对他的臣仆们说：“你们为我寻找一个招魂的女巫吧，我好去她那里求问。”臣仆们对他说：“看哪，在恩多尔有一个招魂的女巫。”于是扫罗乔装，穿上别的衣服，然后带着两个人与他一同前往。他们夜间去见那女人，扫罗说：“请你用招魂术，把我告诉你的人为我招上来。”那女人对他说：“看哪，你知道扫罗所做的事，他把招魂的和通灵的从国中剪除了。你为什么对我设下圈套，要害死我呢？”扫罗指着耶和华向她起誓说：“我指着耶和华的永生起誓：你必不因这事受到惩罚。”那女人就问：“我要为你招谁上来呢？”扫罗回答：“为我招撒母耳上来。”那女人看见撒母耳，就大声哀叫。她对扫罗说：“你为什么欺骗我呢？你就是扫罗！”王对她说：“不要害怕。你究竟看见了什么？”那女人对扫罗说：“我看见有神明从地里上来。”扫罗问她：“他是什么模样呢？”她回答：“上来的是个老人，披着外袍。”扫罗认为那是撒母耳，就脸伏于地下拜。撒母耳问扫罗：“你为什么搅扰我，招我上来呢？”扫罗回答：“我面临极大的危难：非利士人与我争战，神也离开了我，不再藉着先知或梦回应我。所以我召唤你来、指示我该怎么做。”撒母耳说：“既然耶和华已经离开你，与你为敌，你为什么还问我呢？耶和华应验了他藉着我所说的话：耶和华从你的手中撕夺了王权，赐给了与你邻近的人——大卫。因为你没有听从耶和华的话，没有对亚玛力人施行他烈怒的惩罚，因此今天耶和华向你行了这事。耶和华必将以色列与你一同交在非利士人手中，明天你和你的儿子们就会与我在一起了；耶和华也必将以色列军兵交在非利士人手中。”扫罗立刻整个身体仆倒在地，他因撒母耳的话极其害怕，并且浑身无力，因为他整日整夜都没有吃东西。

尽管有人对你们说：“求问那些喃喃自语、念念有词的招魂者和通灵者吧”，但百姓难道不应当求问自己的神吗？难道应当为活人求问死人吗？

有一次，我们往祷告的地方去，迎面来了一个有占卜邪灵附身的女仆。她用算命为她的主人们带来大量的生意。她跟着保罗和我们，喊叫说：“这些人是至高神的奴仆，向你们传讲救恩的道。”她一连几天都这样做。保罗厌烦了，就转过身对那邪灵说：“我奉耶稣基督的名，吩咐你从她身上出来！”那邪灵立刻就出来了。

万军之耶和华如此说：‘我要清算亚玛力人对以色列人所做的事，就是当以色列人从埃及上来时，亚玛力人在路上攻击他们。

有一个名叫西门的人，自称是个大人物，一向在那城里行邪术，使撒马利亚的居民十分惊讶。所有的人，从卑微的到尊贵的，都听从他。他们说：“这个人就是那被称为‘神的大能者’的。”他们听从他，因为他长期以来用邪术使他们十分惊讶。
