Psalm 110
The Priestly King
A psalm of David.
1This is the declaration of the Lord
to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand

2The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion.

3Your people will volunteer

In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn,
4The Lord has sworn an oath and will not take it back:
“You are a priest forever
5The Lord is at your right hand;
6He will judge the nations, heaping up corpses;110:6 Is 66:24; Rv 19:17–18
he will crush leaders over the entire world.110:6 Ps 68:21
therefore, he will lift up his head.110:7 Ps 27:6
