Collection for the Jerusalem Church

2On the first day of the week,16:2 Mt 28:1; Mk 16:9; Lk 24:1; Jn 20:1,19; Ac 20:7 each of you is to set something aside and save in keeping with how he is prospering, so that no collections will need to be made when I come.16:2 2Co 9:1–5

4If it is suitable for me to go as well, they will travel with me.
Paul’s Travel Plans
5I will come to you after I pass through Macedonia16:5 Ac 16:9 — for I will be traveling through Macedonia —
6and perhaps I will remain with you or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I go.

Final Exhortation
15Brothers and sisters, you know the household of Stephanas: They are the firstfruits16:15 Lv 2:12 of Achaia16:15 Ac 18:12 and have devoted themselves to serving the saints. I urge you
16also to submit to such people, and to everyone who works and labors with them.
17I am delighted to have Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus present, because these men have made up for your absence.
Conclusion
19The churches of Asia16:19 Ac 6:9 send you greetings.16:19–20 Rm 16:3–23; 2Co 13:12; Php 4:21–22; Col 4:10–15; 1Th 5:26; Phm 23–24 Aquila and Priscilla16:19 Ac 18:2 send you greetings warmly in the Lord, along with the church that meets in their home.16:19 Rm 16:5
