Romanos 9:6 - Ahora bien, no digamos que la Palabra de Dios ha fracasado. Lo que sucede es que no todos los que descienden de Israel son Israel.
Romanos 9:7 - Tampoco por ser descendientes de Abraham son todos hijos suyos. Al contrario: «Tu descendencia se establecerá por medio de Isaac».
Mateo 3:9 - No piensen que podrán alegar: “Tenemos a Abraham por padre”. Porque les digo que aun de estas piedras Dios es capaz de darle hijos a Abraham.
Juan 8:39 - —Nuestro padre es Abraham —replicaron. —Si fueran hijos de Abraham, harían lo mismo que él hizo.
Juan 8:40 - Ustedes, en cambio, quieren matarme, ¡a mí, que les he expuesto la verdad que he recibido de parte de Dios! Abraham jamás haría tal cosa.
2 Corintios 12:18 - Le rogué a Tito que fuera a verlos y con él envié al hermano. ¿Acaso se aprovechó Tito de ustedes? ¿No procedimos los dos con el mismo espíritu y seguimos el mismo camino?
Proverbios 2:20 - Así andarás por el camino de los buenos y seguirás la senda de los justos.
Lucas 16:23 - En el infierno, en medio de sus tormentos, el rico levantó los ojos y vio de lejos a Abraham, y a Lázaro junto a él.
Lucas 16:24 - Así que alzó la voz y lo llamó: “Padre Abraham, ten compasión de mí y manda a Lázaro que moje la punta del dedo en agua y me refresque la lengua, porque estoy sufriendo mucho en este fuego”.
Lucas 16:25 - Pero Abraham le contestó: “Hijo, recuerda que durante tu vida te fue muy bien, mientras que a Lázaro le fue muy mal; pero ahora a él le toca recibir consuelo aquí, y a ti, sufrir terriblemente.
Lucas 16:26 - Además de eso, hay un gran abismo entre nosotros y ustedes, de modo que los que quieren pasar de aquí para allá no pueden, ni tampoco pueden los de allá para acá”.
Lucas 16:27 - »Él respondió: “Entonces te ruego, padre, que mandes a Lázaro a la casa de mi padre,
Lucas 16:28 - para que advierta a mis cinco hermanos y no vengan ellos también a este lugar de tormento”.
Lucas 16:29 - Pero Abraham le contestó: “Ya tienen a Moisés y a los profetas; ¡que les hagan caso a ellos!”
Lucas 16:30 - “No les harán caso, padre Abraham —replicó el rico—; en cambio, si se les presentara uno de entre los muertos, entonces sí se arrepentirían”.
Lucas 16:31 - Abraham le dijo: “Si no les hacen caso a Moisés y a los profetas, tampoco se convencerán aunque alguien se levante de entre los muertos”».
Job 33:11 - Me ha sujetado los pies con cadenas y vigila todos mis pasos”.
1 Pedro 2:21 - Para esto fueron llamados, porque Cristo sufrió por ustedes, dándoles ejemplo para que sigan sus pasos.
Gálatas 4:22 - ¿Acaso no está escrito que Abraham tuvo dos hijos, uno de la esclava y otro de la libre?
Gálatas 4:23 - El de la esclava nació por decisión humana, pero el de la libre nació en cumplimiento de una promesa.
Gálatas 4:24 - Ese relato puede interpretarse en sentido figurado: estas mujeres representan dos pactos. Uno, que es Agar, procede del monte Sinaí y tiene hijos que nacen para ser esclavos.
Gálatas 4:25 - Agar representa el monte Sinaí en Arabia, y corresponde a la actual ciudad de Jerusalén, porque junto con sus hijos vive en esclavitud.
Gálatas 4:26 - Pero la Jerusalén celestial es libre, y esa es nuestra madre.
Gálatas 4:27 - Porque está escrito: «Tú, mujer estéril que nunca has dado a luz, ¡grita de alegría! Tú, que nunca tuviste dolores de parto, ¡prorrumpe en gritos de júbilo! Porque más hijos que la casada tendrá la desamparada».
Gálatas 4:28 - Ustedes, hermanos, al igual que Isaac, son hijos por la promesa.
Gálatas 4:29 - Y así como en aquel tiempo el hijo nacido por decisión humana persiguió al hijo nacido por el Espíritu, así también sucede ahora.
Gálatas 4:30 - Pero ¿qué dice la Escritura? «¡Echa de aquí a la esclava y a su hijo! El hijo de la esclava jamás tendrá parte en la herencia con el hijo de la libre».
Gálatas 4:31 - Así que, hermanos, no somos hijos de la esclava, sino de la libre.
