  • Ezekiel 40:19 - Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, a hundred cubits on the east side and on the north side.
  • Ezekiel 40:20 - As for the gate that faced toward the north, belonging to the outer court, he measured its length and its breadth.
  • Ezekiel 40:21 - Its side rooms, three on either side, and its jambs and its vestibule were of the same size as those of the first gate. Its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth twenty-five cubits.
  • Ezekiel 40:22 - And its windows, its vestibule, and its palm trees were of the same size as those of the gate that faced toward the east. And by seven steps people would go up to it, and find its vestibule before them.

  • Isaiah 54:8 - In overflowing anger for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer.

  • Ezekiel 40:17 - Then he brought me into the outer court. And behold, there were chambers and a pavement, all around the court. Thirty chambers faced the pavement.
  • Ezekiel 40:18 - And the pavement ran along the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates. This was the lower pavement.
  • Ezekiel 40:19 - Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, a hundred cubits on the east side and on the north side.
  • Ezekiel 40:20 - As for the gate that faced toward the north, belonging to the outer court, he measured its length and its breadth.
  • Ezekiel 40:21 - Its side rooms, three on either side, and its jambs and its vestibule were of the same size as those of the first gate. Its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth twenty-five cubits.
  • Ezekiel 40:22 - And its windows, its vestibule, and its palm trees were of the same size as those of the gate that faced toward the east. And by seven steps people would go up to it, and find its vestibule before them.

  • Ezekiel 40:45 - And he said to me, “This chamber that faces south is for the priests who have charge of the temple,
  • Ezekiel 40:46 - and the chamber that faces north is for the priests who have charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, who alone among the sons of Levi may come near to the Lord to minister to him.”
  • Ezekiel 40:47 - And he measured the court, a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits broad, a square. And the altar was in front of the temple.
  • Ezekiel 40:48 - Then he brought me to the vestibule of the temple and measured the jambs of the vestibule, five cubits on either side. And the breadth of the gate was fourteen cubits, and the sidewalls of the gate were three cubits on either side.
  • Ezekiel 40:49 - The length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the breadth twelve cubits, and people would go up to it by ten steps. And there were pillars beside the jambs, one on either side.
  • Jeremiah 31:12 - They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall be like a watered garden, and they shall languish no more.
  • Jeremiah 31:13 - Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.
  • Isaiah 59:20 - “And a Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,” declares the Lord.

  • Jeremiah 3:17 - At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart.
  • Isaiah 49:14 - But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me; my Lord has forgotten me.”
  • Isaiah 49:15 - “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.
  • Isaiah 49:16 - Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.
  • Isaiah 49:17 - Your builders make haste; your destroyers and those who laid you waste go out from you.
  • Isaiah 49:18 - Lift up your eyes around and see; they all gather, they come to you. As I live, declares the Lord, you shall put them all on as an ornament; you shall bind them on as a bride does.
  • Isaiah 49:19 - “Surely your waste and your desolate places and your devastated land— surely now you will be too narrow for your inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up will be far away.
  • Isaiah 49:20 - The children of your bereavement will yet say in your ears: ‘The place is too narrow for me; make room for me to dwell in.’
  • Isaiah 49:21 - Then you will say in your heart: ‘Who has borne me these? I was bereaved and barren, exiled and put away, but who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; from where have these come?’”
  • Isaiah 49:22 - Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my signal to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.
  • Isaiah 49:23 - Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame.”
  • Isaiah 49:24 - Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?
  • Isaiah 49:25 - For thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.
  • Isaiah 49:26 - I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with wine. Then all flesh shall know that I am the Lord your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

  • Isaiah 61:8 - For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
  • Isaiah 61:9 - Their offspring shall be known among the nations, and their descendants in the midst of the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are an offspring the Lord has blessed.
  • Isaiah 61:10 - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
  • Isaiah 61:11 - For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.
  • Isaiah 12:6 - Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
  • Psalms 125:1 - Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
  • Psalms 125:2 - As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.

  • Revelation 21:21 - And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
  • Revelation 21:22 - And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.
  • Revelation 21:23 - And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
  • Revelation 21:24 - By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
  • Revelation 21:25 - and its gates will never be shut by day—and there will be no night there.
  • Revelation 21:26 - They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.
  • Revelation 21:27 - But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
  • Psalms 48:2 - beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King.
  • Psalms 48:3 - Within her citadels God has made himself known as a fortress.
  • Psalms 46:4 - There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.
  • Hebrews 12:22 - But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,
  • Hebrews 12:23 - and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
  • Ezekiel 36:11 - And I will multiply on you man and beast, and they shall multiply and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former times, and will do more good to you than ever before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
  • Ezekiel 36:12 - I will let people walk on you, even my people Israel. And they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no longer bereave them of children.
  • Ezekiel 36:13 - Thus says the Lord God: Because they say to you, ‘You devour people, and you bereave your nation of children,’
  • Ezekiel 36:14 - therefore you shall no longer devour people and no longer bereave your nation of children, declares the Lord God.
  • Ezekiel 36:15 - And I will not let you hear anymore the reproach of the nations, and you shall no longer bear the disgrace of the peoples and no longer cause your nation to stumble, declares the Lord God.”
  • Ezekiel 36:16 - The word of the Lord came to me:
  • Ezekiel 36:17 - “Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity.
  • Ezekiel 36:18 - So I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood that they had shed in the land, for the idols with which they had defiled it.
  • Ezekiel 36:19 - I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. In accordance with their ways and their deeds I judged them.
  • Ezekiel 36:20 - But when they came to the nations, wherever they came, they profaned my holy name, in that people said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they had to go out of his land.’
  • Ezekiel 36:21 - But I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations to which they came.
  • Ezekiel 36:22 - “Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came.
  • Ezekiel 36:23 - And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
  • Ezekiel 36:24 - I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.
  • Ezekiel 36:25 - I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
  • Ezekiel 36:26 - And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
  • Ezekiel 36:27 - And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
  • Ezekiel 36:28 - You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
  • Ezekiel 36:29 - And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you.
  • Ezekiel 36:30 - I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations.
  • Ezekiel 36:31 - Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and your abominations.
  • Ezekiel 36:32 - It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
  • Ezekiel 36:33 - “Thus says the Lord God: On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt.
  • Ezekiel 36:34 - And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, instead of being the desolation that it was in the sight of all who passed by.
  • Ezekiel 36:35 - And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’
  • Ezekiel 36:36 - Then the nations that are left all around you shall know that I am the Lord; I have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.
  • Ezekiel 36:37 - “Thus says the Lord God: This also I will let the house of Israel ask me to do for them: to increase their people like a flock.
  • Ezekiel 36:38 - Like the flock for sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
