  • 1 Chronicles 17:6 - In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ ” ’
  • 1 Chronicles 17:7 - Now, therefore, this is what you shall say to My servant David: ‘This is what the Lord of armies says: “I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be leader over My people Israel.
  • 1 Chronicles 17:8 - I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have eliminated all your enemies from you; and I will make for you a name like the name of the great ones who are on the earth.
  • 1 Chronicles 17:9 - And I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them there, so that they may live in their own place and not tremble with anxiety again; and the wicked will not make them waste away anymore as they did previously,
  • 1 Chronicles 17:10 - even from the day that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover, I tell you that the Lord will build a house for you.
  • 1 Chronicles 17:11 - When your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, then I will set up one of your descendants after you, who will be from your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
  • 1 Chronicles 17:12 - He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

  • Ezra 7:15 - and to bring the silver and gold, which the king and his advisers have voluntarily given to the God of Israel, whose dwelling is in Jerusalem,
  • Ezra 7:16 - with all the silver and gold which you find in the entire province of Babylon, along with the voluntary offering of the people and of the priests, who offered willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem;
  • Ezra 7:17 - with this money, therefore, you shall diligently buy bulls, rams, and lambs, with their grain offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them on the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.
  • Ezra 7:18 - And whatever seems good to you and your brothers to do with the rest of the silver and gold, you may do according to the will of your God.
  • Ezra 7:19 - Also the utensils which are given to you for the service of the house of your God, deliver in full before the God of Jerusalem.
  • Ezra 7:20 - And the rest of the needs of the house of your God, for which it may be incumbent upon you to provide, provide for them from the royal treasury.
  • Ezra 7:21 - “I myself, King Artaxerxes, issue a decree to all the treasurers who are in the provinces beyond the Euphrates River, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the Law of the God of heaven, may require of you, it shall be done diligently,
  • Ezra 7:22 - up to a hundred talents of silver, a hundred kors of wheat, a hundred baths of wine, a hundred baths of anointing oil, and salt as needed.
  • Ezra 7:23 - Whatever is commanded by the God of heaven, it shall be done with zeal for the house of the God of heaven, so that there will not be wrath against the kingdom of the king and his sons.
  • Ezra 7:24 - We also inform you that it is not allowed to impose tax, tribute, or toll on any of the priests, Levites, singers, doorkeepers, temple servants, or other servants of this house of God.
  • Ezra 7:25 - “And you, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God which is in your hand, appoint magistrates and judges so that they may judge all the people who are in the province beyond the Euphrates River, that is, all those who know the laws of your God; and you may teach anyone who is ignorant of them.
  • Ezra 7:26 - And whoever does not comply with the Law of your God and the law of the king, judgment is to be executed upon him strictly, whether for death or for banishment, or for confiscation of property or for imprisonment.”
  • Ezra 7:27 - Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,
  • Ezra 7:28 - and has extended favor to me before the king and his counselors and before all the king’s mighty officials. So I was strengthened according to the hand of the Lord my God that was upon me, and I gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me.
  • 2 Chronicles 2:5 - The house which I am about to build will be great, for our God is greater than all the gods.
  • 2 Chronicles 2:6 - But who is able to build a house for Him, since the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain Him? And who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except to burn incense before Him?

  • 1 Chronicles 28:16 - and the gold by weight for the tables of the showbread, for each table; and silver for the silver tables;
  • 1 Chronicles 28:17 - and the forks, the basins, and the pitchers of pure gold; and for the golden bowls with the weight for each bowl; and for the silver bowls with the weight for each bowl;
  • 1 Chronicles 28:18 - and for the altar of incense, refined gold by weight; and gold for the model of the chariot, and the cherubim that spread out their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
  • 1 Chronicles 28:19 - “All this,” said David, “the Lord made me understand in writing by His hand upon me, all the details of this pattern.”
  • 1 Chronicles 28:20 - Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.
  • 1 Chronicles 28:21 - Now behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of the house of God, and every willing man of any skill will be with you in all the work for all kinds of service. The officials also and all the people will be entirely at your command.”
  • Isaiah 60:16 - You will also suck the milk of nations, And suck the breast of kings; Then you will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
