  • 1 Chronicles 17:10 - ever since the day I ordered judges to be over my people Israel. I will also subdue all your enemies. “‘Furthermore, I declare to you that the Lord himself will build a house for you.
  • 1 Chronicles 17:11 - When your time comes to be with your ancestors, I will raise up after you your descendant, who is one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
  • 1 Chronicles 17:12 - He is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever.
  • Psalms 72:10 - May the kings of Tarshish and the coasts and islands bring tribute, the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.
  • Psalms 72:11 - Let all kings bow in homage to him, all nations serve him.
  • Isaiah 60:6 - Caravans of camels will cover your land  — young camels of Midian and Ephah — all of them will come from Sheba. They will carry gold and frankincense and proclaim the praises of the Lord.

  • Isaiah 60:10 - Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in my wrath, yet I will show mercy to you with my favor.
  • Isaiah 60:11 - Your city gates will always be open; they will never be shut day or night so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in procession.
  • Ezra 7:13 - I issue a decree that any of the Israelites in my kingdom, including their priests and Levites, who want to go to Jerusalem, may go with you.
  • Ezra 7:14 - You are sent by the king and his seven counselors to evaluate Judah and Jerusalem according to the law of your God, which is in your possession.
  • Ezra 7:15 - You are also to bring the silver and gold the king and his counselors have willingly given to the God of Israel, whose dwelling is in Jerusalem,
  • Ezra 7:16 - and all the silver and gold you receive throughout the province of Babylon, together with the freewill offerings given by the people and the priests to the house of their God in Jerusalem.
  • Ezra 7:17 - Then you are to be diligent to buy with this money bulls, rams, and lambs, along with their grain and drink offerings, and offer them on the altar at the house of your God in Jerusalem.
  • Ezra 7:18 - You may do whatever seems best to you and your brothers with the rest of the silver and gold, according to the will of your God.
  • Ezra 7:19 - Deliver to the God of Jerusalem all the articles given to you for the service of the house of your God.
  • Ezra 7:20 - You may use the royal treasury to pay for anything else needed for the house of your God.
  • Ezra 7:21 - I, King Artaxerxes, issue a decree to all the treasurers in the region west of the Euphrates River: Whatever Ezra the priest, an expert in the law of the God of the heavens, asks of you must be provided in full,
  • Ezra 7:22 - up to 7,500 pounds of silver, 500 bushels of wheat, 550 gallons of wine, 550 gallons of oil, and salt without limit.
  • Ezra 7:23 - Whatever is commanded by the God of the heavens must be done diligently for the house of the God of the heavens, so that wrath will not fall on the realm of the king and his sons.
  • Ezra 7:24 - Be advised that you do not have authority to impose tribute, duty, and land tax on any priests, Levites, singers, doorkeepers, temple servants, or other servants of this house of God.
  • Ezra 7:25 - And you, Ezra, according to God’s wisdom that you possess, appoint magistrates and judges to judge all the people in the region west of the Euphrates who know the laws of your God and to teach anyone who does not know them.
  • Ezra 7:26 - Anyone who does not keep the law of your God and the law of the king, let the appropriate judgment be executed against him, whether death, banishment, confiscation of property, or imprisonment.
  • Ezra 7:27 - Blessed be the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s mind to glorify the house of the Lord in Jerusalem,
  • Ezra 7:28 - and who has shown favor to me before the king, his counselors, and all his powerful officers. So I took courage because I was strengthened by the hand of the Lord my God, and I gathered Israelite leaders to return with me.
  • 2 Chronicles 2:5 - The temple that I am building will be great, for our God is greater than any of the gods.
  • 2 Chronicles 2:6 - But who is able to build a temple for him, since even heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain him? Who am I then that I should build a temple for him except as a place to burn incense before him?
  • 1 Chronicles 28:10 - Realize now that the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it.”

  • 1 Chronicles 28:15 - the weight of the gold lampstands and their gold lamps, including the weight of each lampstand and its lamps; the weight of each silver lampstand and its lamps, according to the service of each lampstand;
  • 1 Chronicles 28:16 - the weight of gold for each table for the rows of the Bread of the Presence and the silver for the silver tables;
  • 1 Chronicles 28:17 - the pure gold for the forks, sprinkling basins, and pitchers; the weight of each gold dish; the weight of each silver bowl;
  • 1 Chronicles 28:18 - the weight of refined gold for the altar of incense; and the plans for the chariot of the gold cherubim that spread out their wings and cover the ark of the Lord’s covenant.
  • 1 Chronicles 28:19 - David concluded, “By the Lord’s hand on me, he enabled me to understand everything in writing, all the details of the plan.”
  • 1 Chronicles 28:20 - Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or abandon you until all the work for the service of the Lord’s house is finished.
  • 1 Chronicles 28:21 - Here are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of God’s house. Every willing person of any skill will be at your disposal for the work, and the leaders and all the people are at your every command.”
  • Isaiah 60:16 - You will nurse on the milk of nations, and nurse at the breast of kings; you will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
  • Isaiah 60:17 - I will bring gold instead of bronze; I will bring silver instead of iron, bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stones. I will appoint peace as your government and righteousness as your overseers.
