John 8:55 - Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word.

Luke 11:43 - “Woe to you Pharisees, because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and respectful greetings in the marketplaces.
Luke 11:44 - “Woe to you, because you are like unmarked graves, which people walk over without knowing it.”
James 2:14 - What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?
James 2:15 - Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.
James 2:16 - If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
James 2:17 - In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
2 Timothy 3:5 - having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Matthew 23:13 - “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

Matthew 23:15 - “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
Matthew 15:7 - You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
Matthew 15:8 - “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
Matthew 15:9 - They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ ”
Ezekiel 33:31 - My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.
Titus 1:16 - They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
Isaiah 29:13 - The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.
