Matthew 24:22 - “If the time had not been cut short, no one would live. But because of God’s chosen people, it will be shortened.
Matthew 24:23 - At that time someone may say to you, ‘Look! Here is the Messiah!’ Or, ‘There he is!’ Do not believe it.
Matthew 24:24 - False messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will do great signs and miracles. They will try to fool God’s chosen people if possible.
Matthew 24:25 - See, I have told you ahead of time.
Matthew 24:26 - “So if anyone tells you, ‘He is a long way out in the desert,’ do not go out there. Or if anyone says, ‘He is deep inside the house,’ do not believe it.
Matthew 24:27 - Lightning that comes from the east can be seen in the west. It will be the same when the Son of Man comes.
Matthew 24:28 - The vultures will gather wherever there is a dead body.
Luke 21:20 - “A time is coming when you will see armies surround Jerusalem. Then you will know that it will soon be destroyed.
Luke 21:21 - Those who are in Judea should then escape to the mountains. Those in the city should get out. Those in the country should not enter the city.
Luke 21:22 - This is the time when God will punish Jerusalem. Everything will come true, just as it has been written.
Luke 21:23 - How awful it will be in those days for pregnant women! How awful for nursing mothers! There will be terrible suffering in the land. There will be great anger against those people.
Luke 21:24 - Some will be killed by the sword. Others will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be taken over by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles come to an end.
Ezekiel 44:9 - The Lord and King says, “No outsider whose heart is stubborn can enter my temple. They have not been circumcised. Even if they live among the people of Israel they can’t enter my temple.
1 Corinthians 14:20 - Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. Be like babies as far as evil is concerned. But be grown up in your thinking.
Lamentations 1:10 - Jerusalem’s enemies took away all her treasures. Her people saw outsiders enter her temple. The Lord had commanded them not to do that.
Acts 8:30 - So Philip ran up to the chariot. He heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you’re reading?” Philip asked.
Acts 8:31 - “How can I?” he said. “I need someone to explain it to me.” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
Daniel 8:13 - Then I heard a holy angel speaking. Another holy angel spoke to him. He asked, “How long will it take for the vision to come true? When will the daily sacrifices be stopped? When will those who refuse to obey God be destroyed? When will the temple be handed over to an enemy? And when will some of the Lord’s people be stomped on?”
Matthew 13:51 - “Do you understand all these things?” Jesus asked. “Yes,” they replied.
Revelation 1:3 - Blessed is the one who reads out loud the words of this prophecy. Blessed are those who hear it and think everything it says is important. The time when these things will come true is near.
Revelation 13:18 - This problem requires wisdom. Anyone who is wise should figure out what the beast’s number means. It is the number of a man. And that number is 666.
Daniel 11:31 - “His army will come and make the temple area ‘unclean.’ They will put a stop to the daily sacrifices. Then they will set up a hated thing that destroys.
Daniel 12:11 - “The daily sacrifices will be stopped. And the hated thing that destroys will be set up. After that, there will be 1,290 days.
Daniel 9:27 - A covenant will be put into effect with many people for one ‘week.’ In the middle of the ‘week’ sacrifices and offerings will come to an end. And at the temple a hated thing that destroys will be set up. It will remain until that ruler who will come is destroyed. Then he will experience what the Lord has ordered.”
