  • Matthew 25:26 - “His master replied to him, ‘You evil, lazy servant! If you knew that I reap where I haven’t sown and gather where I haven’t scattered,
  • Matthew 25:27 - then you should have deposited my money with the bankers, and I would have received my money back with interest when I returned.
  • Matthew 25:28 - “‘So take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten talents.
  • Matthew 25:29 - For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
  • Matthew 25:30 - And throw this good-for-nothing servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
  • 1 Corinthians 4:1 - A person should think of us in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of the mysteries of God.
  • 1 Corinthians 4:2 - In this regard, it is required that managers be found faithful.
  • Luke 16:1 - Now he said to the disciples, “There was a rich man who received an accusation that his manager was squandering his possessions.
  • Luke 16:2 - So he called the manager in and asked, ‘What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you can no longer be my manager.’
  • Luke 16:3 - “Then the manager said to himself, ‘What will I do since my master is taking the management away from me? I’m not strong enough to dig; I’m ashamed to beg.
  • Luke 16:4 - I know what I’ll do so that when I’m removed from management, people will welcome me into their homes.’
  • Luke 16:5 - “So he summoned each one of his master’s debtors. ‘How much do you owe my master? ’ he asked the first one.
  • Luke 16:6 - “‘A hundred measures of olive oil,’ he said. “‘Take your invoice,’ he told him, ‘sit down quickly, and write fifty.’
  • Luke 16:7 - “Next he asked another, ‘How much do you owe?’ “‘A hundred measures of wheat,’ he said. “‘Take your invoice,’ he told him, ‘and write eighty.’
  • Luke 16:8 - “The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of light in dealing with their own people.
  • Luke 16:9 - And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of worldly wealth so that when it fails, they may welcome you into eternal dwellings.
  • Luke 16:10 - Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and whoever is unrighteous in very little is also unrighteous in much.
  • Luke 16:11 - So if you have not been faithful with worldly wealth, who will trust you with what is genuine?
  • Luke 16:12 - And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own?
  • Ephesians 4:11 - And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,
  • 1 Corinthians 12:4 - Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:7 - A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good:
  • 1 Corinthians 12:8 - to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit,
  • 1 Corinthians 12:9 - to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
  • 1 Corinthians 12:10 - to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of tongues, to another, interpretation of tongues.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:11 - One and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each person as he wills.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:12 - For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body — so also is Christ.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:13 - For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body — whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free — and we were all given one Spirit to drink.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:14 - Indeed, the body is not one part but many.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:15 - If the foot should say, “Because I’m not a hand, I don’t belong to the body,” it is not for that reason any less a part of the body.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:16 - And if the ear should say, “Because I’m not an eye, I don’t belong to the body,” it is not for that reason any less a part of the body.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:17 - If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
  • 1 Corinthians 12:18 - But as it is, God has arranged each one of the parts in the body just as he wanted.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:19 - And if they were all the same part, where would the body be?
  • 1 Corinthians 12:20 - As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:21 - The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”
  • 1 Corinthians 12:22 - On the contrary, those parts of the body that are weaker are indispensable.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:23 - And those parts of the body that we consider less honorable, we clothe these with greater honor, and our unrespectable parts are treated with greater respect,
  • 1 Corinthians 12:24 - which our respectable parts do not need. Instead, God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the less honorable,
  • 1 Corinthians 12:25 - so that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:26 - So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:27 - Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:28 - And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, leading, various kinds of tongues.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:29 - Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all do miracles?
  • Luke 19:12 - Therefore he said, “A nobleman traveled to a far country to receive for himself authority to be king and then to return.
  • Luke 19:13 - He called ten of his servants, gave them ten minas, and told them, ‘Engage in business until I come back.’
  • Luke 19:14 - “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We don’t want this man to rule over us.’

  • Luke 19:16 - The first came forward and said, ‘Master, your mina has earned ten more minas.’
  • Luke 19:17 - “‘Well done, good servant! ’ he told him. ‘Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, have authority over ten towns.’
  • Luke 19:18 - “The second came and said, ‘Master, your mina has made five minas.’
  • Luke 19:19 - “So he said to him, ‘You will be over five towns.’
  • Luke 19:20 - “And another came and said, ‘Master, here is your mina. I have kept it safe in a cloth
  • Luke 19:21 - because I was afraid of you since you’re a harsh man: you collect what you didn’t deposit and reap what you didn’t sow.’
  • Luke 19:22 - “He told him, ‘I will condemn you by what you have said, you evil servant! If you knew I was a harsh man, collecting what I didn’t deposit and reaping what I didn’t sow,
  • Luke 19:23 - why, then, didn’t you put my money in the bank? And when I returned, I would have collected it with interest.’
  • Luke 19:24 - So he said to those standing there, ‘Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’
  • Luke 19:25 - “But they said to him, ‘Master, he has ten minas.’
  • Luke 19:26 - “‘I tell you, that to everyone who has, more will be given; and from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away.

  • Mark 13:34 - “It is like a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his servants, gave each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to be alert.
  • 1 Peter 4:9 - Be hospitable to one another without complaining.
  • 1 Peter 4:10 - Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.
  • 1 Peter 4:11 - If anyone speaks, let it be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, let it be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
