  • 2 Chronicles 7:11 - When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace,
  • 2 Chronicles 7:12 - the Lord appeared to him at night and said: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.
  • Jeremiah 31:23 - This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “When I bring them back from captivity, the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: ‘The Lord bless you, you prosperous city, you sacred mountain.’
  • Jeremiah 31:24 - People will live together in Judah and all its towns—farmers and those who move about with their flocks.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:21 - The Israelites who were present in Jerusalem celebrated the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days with great rejoicing, while the Levites and priests praised the Lord every day with resounding instruments dedicated to the Lord.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:22 - Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites, who showed good understanding of the service of the Lord. For the seven days they ate their assigned portion and offered fellowship offerings and praised the Lord, the God of their ancestors.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:23 - The whole assembly then agreed to celebrate the festival seven more days; so for another seven days they celebrated joyfully.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:24 - Hezekiah king of Judah provided a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep and goats for the assembly, and the officials provided them with a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep and goats. A great number of priests consecrated themselves.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:25 - The entire assembly of Judah rejoiced, along with the priests and Levites and all who had assembled from Israel, including the foreigners who had come from Israel and also those who resided in Judah.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:26 - There was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the days of Solomon son of David king of Israel there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:27 - The priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place.
  • 1 Chronicles 15:26 - Because God had helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, seven bulls and seven rams were sacrificed.

  • 2 Chronicles 8:14 - In keeping with the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their duties, and the Levites to lead the praise and to assist the priests according to each day’s requirement. He also appointed the gatekeepers by divisions for the various gates, because this was what David the man of God had ordered.
  • Ezekiel 20:40 - For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, declares the Sovereign Lord, there in the land all the people of Israel will serve me, and there I will accept them. There I will require your offerings and your choice gifts, along with all your holy sacrifices.
  • Ezekiel 20:41 - I will accept you as fragrant incense when I bring you out from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will be proved holy through you in the sight of the nations.
  • 2 Chronicles 29:31 - Then Hezekiah said, “You have now dedicated yourselves to the Lord. Come and bring sacrifices and thank offerings to the temple of the Lord.” So the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and all whose hearts were willing brought burnt offerings.
  • 2 Chronicles 29:32 - The number of burnt offerings the assembly brought was seventy bulls, a hundred rams and two hundred male lambs—all of them for burnt offerings to the Lord.
  • 2 Chronicles 29:33 - The animals consecrated as sacrifices amounted to six hundred bulls and three thousand sheep and goats.
  • 2 Chronicles 29:34 - The priests, however, were too few to skin all the burnt offerings; so their relatives the Levites helped them until the task was finished and until other priests had been consecrated, for the Levites had been more conscientious in consecrating themselves than the priests had been.
  • 2 Chronicles 29:35 - There were burnt offerings in abundance, together with the fat of the fellowship offerings and the drink offerings that accompanied the burnt offerings. So the service of the temple of the Lord was reestablished.
  • 2 Chronicles 29:36 - Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced at what God had brought about for his people, because it was done so quickly.
  • Ezekiel 43:26 - For seven days they are to make atonement for the altar and cleanse it; thus they will dedicate it.
  • Ezekiel 43:27 - At the end of these days, from the eighth day on, the priests are to present your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings on the altar. Then I will accept you, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
  • 1 Chronicles 29:20 - Then David said to the whole assembly, “Praise the Lord your God.” So they all praised the Lord, the God of their fathers; they bowed down, prostrating themselves before the Lord and the king.
  • 1 Chronicles 29:21 - The next day they made sacrifices to the Lord and presented burnt offerings to him: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams and a thousand male lambs, together with their drink offerings, and other sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
  • 1 Chronicles 29:22 - They ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the Lord that day. Then they acknowledged Solomon son of David as king a second time, anointing him before the Lord to be ruler and Zadok to be priest.
  • Jeremiah 2:2 - “Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem: “This is what the Lord says: “ ‘I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved me and followed me through the wilderness, through a land not sown.
  • Jeremiah 2:3 - Israel was holy to the Lord, the firstfruits of his harvest; all who devoured her were held guilty, and disaster overtook them,’ ” declares the Lord.
  • 2 Chronicles 1:6 - Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord in the tent of meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.
  • 2 Chronicles 31:20 - This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God.
  • 2 Chronicles 31:21 - In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.
  • 1 Chronicles 16:1 - They brought the ark of God and set it inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and they presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God.
  • 1 Chronicles 16:2 - After David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
  • 1 Chronicles 16:3 - Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each Israelite man and woman.
  • 1 Chronicles 21:26 - David built an altar to the Lord there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. He called on the Lord, and the Lord answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering.
  • Isaiah 56:7 - these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
  • 2 Chronicles 7:1 - When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
  • 2 Chronicles 7:2 - The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it.
  • 2 Chronicles 7:3 - When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “He is good; his love endures forever.”
