- Hebrews 7:1 - For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
- Numbers 35:25 - The congregation shall deliver the man slayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he had fled. He shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.
- Isaiah 49:1 - Listen, islands, to me. Listen, you peoples, from afar: Yahweh has called me from the womb; from the inside of my mother, he has mentioned my name.
- Isaiah 49:2 - He has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. He has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver.
- Isaiah 49:3 - He said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”
- Isaiah 49:4 - But I said, “I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength in vain for nothing; yet surely the justice due to me is with Yahweh, and my reward with my God.”
- Isaiah 49:5 - Now Yahweh, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, says to bring Jacob again to him, and to gather Israel to him, for I am honorable in Yahweh’s eyes, and my God has become my strength.
- Isaiah 49:6 - Indeed, he says, “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”
- Isaiah 49:7 - Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, says to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers: “Kings shall see and rise up, princes, and they shall worship, because of Yahweh who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”
- Isaiah 49:8 - Yahweh says, “I have answered you in an acceptable time. I have helped you in a day of salvation. I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage,
- Hosea 1:7 - But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by Yahweh their God, and will not save them by bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.”
- Hosea 1:8 - Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived, and bore a son.
- Hosea 1:9 - He said, “Call his name Lo-Ammi ; for you are not my people, and I will not be yours.
- Hosea 1:10 - Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured or counted; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’
- Hosea 1:11 - The children of Judah and the children of Israel will be gathered together, and they will appoint themselves one head, and will go up from the land; for great will be the day of Jezreel.
- Acts 7:37 - This is that Moses, who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.’

- Hosea 3:5 - Afterward the children of Israel shall return, and seek Yahweh their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to Yahweh and to his blessings in the last days.
- Numbers 21:8 - Yahweh said to Moses, “Make a venomous snake, and set it on a pole. It shall happen that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.”
- Genesis 14:18 - Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High.
- Daniel 2:44 - “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.
- Isaiah 42:1 - “Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.
- Isaiah 42:2 - He will not shout, nor raise his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street.
- Isaiah 42:3 - He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a dimly burning wick. He will faithfully bring justice.
- Isaiah 42:4 - He will not fail nor be discouraged, until he has set justice in the earth, and the islands wait for his law.”
- Micah 5:1 - Now you shall gather yourself in troops, daughter of troops. He has laid siege against us. They will strike the judge of Israel with a rod on the cheek.
- Micah 5:2 - But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the clans of Judah, out of you one will come out to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times.
- Micah 5:3 - Therefore he will abandon them until the time that she who is in labor gives birth. Then the rest of his brothers will return to the children of Israel.
- Micah 5:4 - He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God: and they will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.
- Hebrews 3:5 - Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
- Isaiah 28:16 - Therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.
- Psalms 88:1 - Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you.
- Psalms 88:2 - Let my prayer enter into your presence. Turn your ear to my cry.
- Psalms 88:3 - For my soul is full of troubles. My life draws near to Sheol.
- Psalms 88:4 - I am counted among those who go down into the pit. I am like a man who has no help,
- Psalms 88:5 - set apart among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more. They are cut off from your hand.
- Psalms 88:6 - You have laid me in the lowest pit, in the darkest depths.
- Psalms 88:7 - Your wrath lies heavily on me. You have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah.
- Psalms 88:8 - You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can’t escape.
- Psalms 88:9 - My eyes are dim from grief. I have called on you daily, Yahweh. I have spread out my hands to you.
- Psalms 88:10 - Do you show wonders to the dead? Do the departed spirits rise up and praise you? Selah.
- Psalms 88:11 - Is your loving kindness declared in the grave? Or your faithfulness in Destruction?
- Psalms 88:12 - Are your wonders made known in the dark? Or your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
- Psalms 88:13 - But to you, Yahweh, I have cried. In the morning, my prayer comes before you.
- Psalms 88:14 - Yahweh, why do you reject my soul? Why do you hide your face from me?
- Psalms 88:15 - I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up. While I suffer your terrors, I am distracted.
- Psalms 88:16 - Your fierce wrath has gone over me. Your terrors have cut me off.
- Psalms 88:17 - They came around me like water all day long. They completely engulfed me.
- Psalms 88:18 - You have put lover and friend far from me, and my friends into darkness.
- Genesis 22:18 - All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring, because you have obeyed my voice.’”
- 1 Peter 1:11 - searching for who or what kind of time the Spirit of Christ, which was in them, pointed to, when he predicted the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that would follow them.
- Isaiah 61:1 - The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,
- Isaiah 61:2 - to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
- Isaiah 61:3 - to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified.
- Daniel 7:13 - “I saw in the night visions, and behold, there came with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
- Daniel 9:24 - “Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.
- Daniel 9:25 - “Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.
- Daniel 9:26 - After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.
- Daniel 9:27 - He will make a firm covenant with many for one week. In the middle of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. On the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, wrath will be poured out on the desolate.”
- Ezekiel 17:22 - “The Lord Yahweh says: ‘I will also take some of the lofty top of the cedar, and will plant it. I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
- Psalms 69:1 - Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!
- Psalms 69:2 - I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
- Psalms 69:3 - I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.
- Psalms 69:4 - Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.
- Psalms 69:5 - God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren’t hidden from you.
- Psalms 69:6 - Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord Yahweh of Armies. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
- Psalms 69:7 - Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.
- Psalms 69:8 - I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.
- Psalms 69:9 - For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
- Psalms 69:10 - When I wept and I fasted, that was to my reproach.
- Psalms 69:11 - When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.
- Psalms 69:12 - Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.
- Psalms 69:13 - But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
- Psalms 69:14 - Deliver me out of the mire, and don’t let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.
- Psalms 69:15 - Don’t let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Don’t let the pit shut its mouth on me.
- Psalms 69:16 - Answer me, Yahweh, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
- Psalms 69:17 - Don’t hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily!
- Psalms 69:18 - Draw near to my soul and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.
- Psalms 69:19 - You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.
- Psalms 69:20 - Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none.
- Psalms 69:21 - They also gave me poison for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
- Psalms 69:22 - Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
- Psalms 69:23 - Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can’t see. Let their backs be continually bent.
- Psalms 69:24 - Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
- Psalms 69:25 - Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.
- Psalms 69:26 - For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
- Psalms 69:27 - Charge them with crime upon crime. Don’t let them come into your righteousness.
- Psalms 69:28 - Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.
- Psalms 69:29 - But I am in pain and distress. Let your salvation, God, protect me.
- Psalms 69:30 - I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
- Psalms 69:31 - It will please Yahweh better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.
- Psalms 69:32 - The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.
- Psalms 69:33 - For Yahweh hears the needy, and doesn’t despise his captive people.
- Psalms 69:34 - Let heaven and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moves therein!
- Psalms 69:35 - For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.
- Psalms 69:36 - The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell therein.
- Zechariah 13:7 - “Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me,” says Yahweh of Armies. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.
- Psalms 118:22 - The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
- Matthew 16:21 - From that time, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.

- Zechariah 11:10 - I took my staff Favor, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant that I had made with all the peoples.
- Zechariah 11:11 - It was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that listened to me knew that it was Yahweh’s word.
- Zechariah 11:12 - I said to them, “If you think it best, give me my wages; and if not, keep them.” So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
- Zechariah 11:13 - Yahweh said to me, “Throw it to the potter, the handsome price that I was valued at by them!” I took the thirty pieces of silver, and threw them to the potter, in Yahweh’s house.
- Luke 9:44 - “Let these words sink into your ears, for the Son of Man will be delivered up into the hands of men.”
- Psalms 109:4 - In return for my love, they are my adversaries; but I am in prayer.
- Psalms 109:5 - They have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
- Psalms 109:6 - Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.
- Psalms 109:7 - When he is judged, let him come out guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin.
- Psalms 109:8 - Let his days be few. Let another take his office.
- Psalms 109:9 - Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
- Psalms 109:10 - Let his children be wandering beggars. Let them be sought from their ruins.
- Psalms 109:11 - Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.
- Psalms 109:12 - Let there be no one to extend kindness to him, neither let there be anyone to have pity on his fatherless children.
- Psalms 109:13 - Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.
- Psalms 109:14 - Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by Yahweh. Don’t let the sin of his mother be blotted out.
- Psalms 109:15 - Let them be before Yahweh continually, that he may cut off their memory from the earth;
- Psalms 109:16 - because he didn’t remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, the broken in heart, to kill them.
- Psalms 109:17 - Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He didn’t delight in blessing, and it was far from him.
- Psalms 109:18 - He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, like oil into his bones.
- Psalms 109:19 - Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, for the belt that is always around him.
- Psalms 109:20 - This is the reward of my adversaries from Yahweh, of those who speak evil against my soul.
- Hebrews 9:8 - The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.
- Isaiah 11:1 - A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
- Isaiah 11:2 - Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.
- Isaiah 11:3 - His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
- Isaiah 11:4 - but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.
- Isaiah 11:5 - Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.
- Isaiah 11:6 - The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, the calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.
- Isaiah 11:7 - The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.
- Isaiah 11:8 - The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
- Isaiah 11:9 - They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.
- Isaiah 11:10 - It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.
- Ezekiel 34:23 - I will set up one shepherd over them, and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them, and he will be their shepherd.
- Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- Psalms 22:1 - My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?
- Psalms 22:2 - My God, I cry in the daytime, but you don’t answer; in the night season, and am not silent.
- Psalms 22:3 - But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.
- Psalms 22:4 - Our fathers trusted in you. They trusted, and you delivered them.
- Psalms 22:5 - They cried to you, and were delivered. They trusted in you, and were not disappointed.
- Psalms 22:6 - But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.
- Psalms 22:7 - All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,
- Psalms 22:8 - “He trusts in Yahweh. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”
- Psalms 22:9 - But you brought me out of the womb. You made me trust while at my mother’s breasts.
- Psalms 22:10 - I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me.
- Psalms 22:11 - Don’t be far from me, for trouble is near. For there is no one to help.
- Psalms 22:12 - Many bulls have surrounded me. Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me.
- Psalms 22:13 - They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring.
- Psalms 22:14 - I am poured out like water. All my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax. It is melted within me.
- Psalms 22:15 - My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.
- Psalms 22:16 - For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.
- Psalms 22:17 - I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.
- Psalms 22:18 - They divide my garments among them. They cast lots for my clothing.
- Psalms 22:19 - But don’t be far off, Yahweh. You are my help. Hurry to help me!
- Psalms 22:20 - Deliver my soul from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog.
- Psalms 22:21 - Save me from the lion’s mouth! Yes, you have rescued me from the horns of the wild oxen.
- Psalms 22:22 - I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the assembly, I will praise you.
- Psalms 22:23 - You who fear Yahweh, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, glorify him! Stand in awe of him, all you descendants of Israel!
- Psalms 22:24 - For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, Neither has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard.
- Psalms 22:25 - My praise of you comes in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.
- Psalms 22:26 - The humble shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise Yahweh who seek after him. Let your hearts live forever.
- Psalms 22:27 - All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to Yahweh. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.
- Psalms 22:28 - For the kingdom is Yahweh’s. He is the ruler over the nations.
- Psalms 22:29 - All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.
- Psalms 22:30 - Posterity shall serve him. Future generations shall be told about the Lord.
- Psalms 22:31 - They shall come and shall declare his righteousness to a people that shall be born, for he has done it.
- Luke 24:6 - He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,
- Luke 24:7 - saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?”
- Acts 3:22 - For Moses indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.
- Acts 3:23 - It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
- Acts 3:24 - Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.

- Psalms 110:1 - Yahweh says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”
- Psalms 110:2 - Yahweh will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule among your enemies.
- Psalms 110:3 - Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.
- Psalms 110:4 - Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
- Psalms 110:5 - The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.
- Psalms 110:6 - He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.
- Psalms 110:7 - He will drink of the brook on the way; therefore he will lift up his head.
- Isaiah 40:1 - “Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.
- Isaiah 40:2 - “Speak comfortably to Jerusalem; and call out to her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of Yahweh’s hand double for all her sins.”
- Isaiah 40:3 - The voice of one who calls out, “Prepare the way of Yahweh in the wilderness! Make a level highway in the desert for our God.
- Isaiah 40:4 - Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low. The uneven shall be made level, and the rough places a plain.
- Isaiah 40:5 - Yahweh’s glory shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.”
- Isaiah 40:6 - The voice of one saying, “Cry!” One said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flower of the field.
- Isaiah 40:7 - The grass withers, the flower fades, because Yahweh’s breath blows on it. Surely the people are like grass.
- Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever.”
- Isaiah 40:9 - You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength! Lift it up! Don’t be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold, your God!”
- Isaiah 40:10 - Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

- Psalms 72:15 - They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long.
- Psalms 72:16 - Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.
- Psalms 72:17 - His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.
- Psalms 72:18 - Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
- Psalms 72:19 - Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.
