  • Mark 13:3 - And as he sat on the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
  • Mark 13:4 - Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when these things are all about to be accomplished?
  • Mark 13:5 - And Jesus began to say unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray.
  • Mark 13:6 - Many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and shall lead many astray.
  • Mark 13:7 - And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled: these things must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.
  • Mark 13:8 - For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there shall be earthquakes in divers places; there shall be famines: these things are the beginning of travail.
  • Mark 13:9 - But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them.
  • Mark 13:10 - And the gospel must first be preached unto all the nations.
  • Mark 13:11 - And when they lead you to judgment, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
  • Mark 13:12 - And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
  • Mark 13:13 - And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
  • Mark 13:14 - But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judæa flee unto the mountains:
  • Mark 13:15 - and let him that is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house:
  • Mark 13:16 - and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
  • Mark 13:17 - But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!
  • Mark 13:18 - And pray ye that it be not in the winter.
  • Mark 13:19 - For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be.
  • Mark 13:20 - And except the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom he chose, he shortened the days.
  • Mark 13:21 - And then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ; or, Lo, there; believe it not:
  • Mark 13:22 - for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the elect.
  • Mark 13:23 - But take ye heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
  • Mark 13:24 - But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
  • Mark 13:25 - and the stars shall be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken.
  • Mark 13:26 - And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
  • Mark 13:27 - And then shall he send forth the angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
  • Mark 13:28 - Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh;
  • Mark 13:29 - even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors.
  • Mark 13:30 - Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished.
  • Mark 13:31 - Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
  • Mark 13:32 - But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
  • Mark 13:33 - Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
  • Mark 13:34 - It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch.
  • Mark 13:35 - Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning;
  • Mark 13:36 - lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
  • Mark 13:37 - And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
  • Matthew 24:1 - And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
  • Matthew 24:2 - But he answered and said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

  • Matthew 24:29 - But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
  • Matthew 24:30 - and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

  • Matthew 24:40 - Then shall two men be in the field; one is taken, and one is left:
  • Matthew 24:41 - two women shall be grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left.
  • Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.
  • Matthew 24:43 - But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.
  • Matthew 24:44 - Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.
  • Matthew 24:45 - Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath set over his household, to give them their food in due season?
  • Matthew 24:46 - Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
  • Matthew 24:47 - Verily I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath.
  • Matthew 24:48 - But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord tarrieth;
  • Matthew 24:49 - and shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and shall eat and drink with the drunken;
  • Matthew 24:50 - the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not,
  • Matthew 24:51 - and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
  • John 2:20 - The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?
