พระคัมภีร์ ฉบับแปลใหม่ - แต่ถ้าเขาไม่สามารถถวายลูกแกะได้ ก็ต้องนำของมาถวายแด่พระผู้เป็นเจ้าสำหรับบาปที่เขากระทำ เป็นการไถ่โทษ คือนกเขาหรือนกพิราบหนุ่ม 2 ตัว ตัวหนึ่งเป็นเครื่องสักการะเพื่อลบล้างบาป และอีก 1 ตัวเป็นสัตว์ที่เผาเป็นของถวาย

Leviticus 15:14 - And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, and come before Jehovah unto the door of the tent of meeting, and give them unto the priest:
Leviticus 15:15 - and the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah for his issue.
