2. Mose 30:1 - »Lass einen Altar aus Akazienholz bauen, auf dem man das Räucheropfer darbringen kann.
2. Mose 30:2 - Er soll quadratisch sein: einen halben Meter lang und ebenso breit. Seine Höhe beträgt einen Meter. An den vier oberen Ecken sollen Hörner hervorragen. Die Hörner sollen nicht aufgesetzt, sondern Teil der Seitenwände sein.

Mose 30:10 - Einmal im Jahr, am großen Versöhnungstag, muss Aaron den Altar von aller Schuld reinigen, die auf ihm lastet: Er soll etwas von dem Blut des Opfertieres an die Hörner des Altars streichen. Auch diese Anweisung gilt für alle künftigen Generationen. Der Altar ist in besonderem Maße heilig, er gehört mir, dem Herrn!«

2. Mose 30:1 - »Lass einen Altar aus Akazienholz bauen, auf dem man das Räucheropfer darbringen kann.
2. Mose 30:2 - Er soll quadratisch sein: einen halben Meter lang und ebenso breit. Seine Höhe beträgt einen Meter. An den vier oberen Ecken sollen Hörner hervorragen. Die Hörner sollen nicht aufgesetzt, sondern Teil der Seitenwände sein.
2. Mose 30:3 - Die obere Platte, die Seitenwände und die vier Hörner sollen mit reinem Gold überzogen werden, und an der Oberseite soll ringsum eine Goldleiste verlaufen.
2. Mose 30:4 - Lass zwei goldene Ringe schmieden, die an beiden Seiten des Altars unterhalb der Zierleiste angebracht werden! Durch diese Ringe werden Stangen gesteckt, damit man den Altar tragen kann.
2. Mose 30:5 - Lass die Stangen aus Akazienholz anfertigen und mit Gold überziehen!
2. Mose 30:6 - Stell den Altar im heiligen Zelt auf, vor dem Vorhang, hinter dem sich die Bundeslade mit den Gesetzestafeln und der Deckplatte befindet, wo ich euch begegne.
2. Mose 30:7 - Jeden Morgen, wenn Aaron die Lampen des Leuchters säubert und Öl nachfüllt, soll er auf dem Altar eine wohlriechende Weihrauchmischung verbrennen.
2. Mose 30:8 - In der Abenddämmerung, wenn er wiederum die Lampen versorgt, soll er ebenfalls Weihrauch verbrennen. Die Räucheropfer sollen dort regelmäßig in meiner Gegenwart verbrannt werden. Dies gilt für alle Zeiten!
2. Mose 30:9 - Auf dem Altar dürfen nur die von mir erlaubten Duftstoffe verbrannt werden – keine anderen! Auch Tieropfer sowie Speise- und Trankopfer dürft ihr dort nicht darbringen.
2. Mose 30:10 - Einmal im Jahr, am großen Versöhnungstag, muss Aaron den Altar von aller Schuld reinigen, die auf ihm lastet: Er soll etwas von dem Blut des Opfertieres an die Hörner des Altars streichen. Auch diese Anweisung gilt für alle künftigen Generationen. Der Altar ist in besonderem Maße heilig, er gehört mir, dem Herrn!«
Epheser 2:13 - Doch das ist vorbei! Jetzt gehört ihr zu Jesus Christus, der am Kreuz sein Blut für euch vergossen hat. Ihr seid Gott jetzt nahe, obwohl ihr vorher so weit von ihm entfernt lebtet.
Hebräer 9:15 - So hat Christus den neuen Bund zwischen Gott und uns Menschen vermittelt: Er starb, damit die Sünden aufgehoben werden, die unter dem alten Bund geschehen sind. Nun können alle, die Gott berufen hat, das von Gott zugesagte unvergängliche Erbe empfangen, das ewige Leben bei Gott.
3. Mose 4:30 - Wieder taucht der Priester seinen Finger in das Blut und streicht es an die Hörner des Brandopferaltars, das restliche Blut gießt er an den Fuß des Altars.
Psalm 118:27 - Der Herr allein ist Gott, er sieht uns freundlich an. Mit Zweigen in euren Händen beginnt den festlichen Reigen um den Altar! «
Hebräer 9:21 - Ebenso besprengte Mose das heilige Zelt und alle Gefäße und Werkzeuge für den Opferdienst.
3. Mose 4:18 - Anschließend streicht er Blut an die Hörner des Räucheropferaltars im heiligen Zelt. Alles restliche Blut gießt er draußen an den Fuß des Brandopferaltars beim Zelteingang.
3. Mose 4:34 - Der Priester taucht seinen Finger in das Blut und streicht es an die Hörner des Brandopferaltars, alles übrige Blut gießt er an den Fuß des Altars.
3. Mose 5:9 - Etwas von ihrem Blut spritzt er an die Altarwand, den Rest lässt er am Fuß des Altars auslaufen. Dies ist das Sündopfer.
3. Mose 16:18 - Anschließend verlässt Aaron das Allerheiligste, geht zum Altar des Heiligtums und befreit ihn von aller Schuld, die auf ihm lastet. Dazu streicht er etwas vom Blut des jungen Stieres und des Ziegenbocks an die Hörner des Altars.
3. Mose 9:9 - Seine Söhne reichten ihm das Blut, er tauchte den Finger hinein und bestrich damit die Hörner des Altars, das übrige Blut goss er an den Fuß des Altars.
3. Mose 8:15 - Mose schlachtete den Stier und strich mit dem Finger etwas von seinem Blut an die vier Hörner des Altars; so reinigte er den Altar von aller Schuld, die auf ihm lastete. Das restliche Blut schüttete er am Fuß des Altars aus, um ihn dem Herrn zu weihen und von aller Unreinheit zu befreien.
