Offer such a thing [as a blind or lame or sick animal] to your governor [as a gift or as payment for your taxes]. Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you graciously?” says the Lord of hosts.
Colossians 1:20 - and through [the intervention of] the Son to reconcile all things to Himself, making peace [with believers] through the blood of His cross; through Him, [I say,] whether things on earth or things in heaven.
Judges 21:4 - And the next day the people got up early and built an altar there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
Leviticus 22:19 - so that you may be accepted—it must be a male without blemish from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats.
Leviticus 22:20 - You shall not offer anything which has a blemish, because it will not be accepted for you.
Leviticus 22:21 - Whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a special vow to the Lord or as a freewill offering from the herd or from the flock, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish in it.
Exodus 29:28 - It shall be for Aaron and his sons as their due portion from the Israelites forever, for it is a heave offering. It shall be a heave offering to the Lord from the Israelites from the sacrifices of their peace offerings.
Exodus 24:5 - Then he sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the Lord.
Judges 20:26 - Then all the sons of Israel and all the people went up and came to Bethel and wept; and they sat there before the Lord and fasted that day until evening and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.
Leviticus 17:5 - This is so that the sons of Israel may bring their sacrifices which they were sacrificing [to idols] in the open field [where they killed them], that they may bring them in to the Lord, at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting to the priest, and sacrifice them as sacrifices of peace offerings to the Lord.
Exodus 20:24 - You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. In every place where I cause My Name to be recorded and remembered [through revelation of My divine nature] I will come to you and bless you.
Ezekiel 45:15 - and [you shall offer] one sheep out of every flock of two hundred from the watering places of Israel—for a grain offering, for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings to make atonement for [those who brought] them,” says the Lord God.
1 Chronicles 21:26 - Then David built an altar to the Lord there and presented burnt offerings and peace offerings. And he called on the Lord, and He answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering.
Numbers 7:17 - and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, five male lambs one year old. This was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab [from the tribe of Judah].
Malachi 1:14 - “But cursed is the swindler who has a male in his flock and vows [to offer] it, but sacrifices to the Lord a blemished or diseased thing! For I am a great King,” says the Lord of hosts, “and My name is to be [reverently and greatly] feared among the nations.”
Leviticus 7:11 - ‘Now this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which shall be presented to the Lord:
Leviticus 7:12 - If one offers it as a sacrificial meal of thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving he shall offer unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers spread with oil, and cakes of fine flour mixed with oil.
Leviticus 7:13 - With the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving, he shall present his offering with cakes of leavened bread.
Leviticus 7:14 - Of this he shall present one [cake] from each offering as a contribution to the Lord; it shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.
Leviticus 7:15 - ‘The meat of the sacrifice of thanksgiving presented as a peace offering shall be eaten on the day that it is offered; none of it shall be left until morning.
Leviticus 7:16 - But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, and on the next day that which remains of it may be eaten;
Leviticus 7:17 - but what is left over from the meat of the sacrifice on the third day shall be [completely] burned in the fire.
Leviticus 7:18 - If any of the meat of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is ever eaten on the third day, then it will not be accepted, and the one who brought it will not be credited with it. It shall be an abhorred (offensive) thing; the one who eats it shall bear his own guilt.
Leviticus 7:19 - ‘The meat that comes in contact with anything that is unclean shall not be eaten; it shall be burned in the fire. As for other meat, everyone who is [ceremonially] clean may eat it.
Leviticus 7:20 - But the one who eats meat from the sacrifice of peace offerings which belong to the Lord, in his uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from his people [excluding him from the atonement made for them].
Leviticus 7:21 - When anyone touches any unclean thing—human uncleanness, or an unclean animal, or any unclean detestable thing—and then eats the meat of the sacrifice of the Lord’s peace offerings, that person shall be cut off from his people [excluding him from the atonement made for them].’ ”
Leviticus 7:22 - Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Leviticus 7:23 - “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘You shall not eat any fat from an ox, a sheep, or a goat.
Leviticus 7:24 - The fat of an animal which dies [of natural causes] and the fat of one which is torn [to pieces by a predator] may be put to any other use, but under no circumstances are you to eat it.
Leviticus 7:25 - For whoever eats the fat of the animal from which an offering by fire is presented to the Lord, that person who eats shall be cut off from his people [excluding him from the atonement made for them].
Leviticus 7:26 - Moreover, you are not to eat any blood [of any kind], whether of bird or animal, in any of your dwelling places.
Leviticus 7:27 - Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.’ ”
Leviticus 7:28 - Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Leviticus 7:29 - “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘He who offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to the Lord shall bring his offering to the Lord from the sacrifice of his peace offerings.
Leviticus 7:30 - With his own hands he is to bring offerings by fire to the Lord; he shall bring the fat with the breast, so that the breast may be presented as a wave offering before the Lord.
Leviticus 7:31 - The priest shall offer up the fat in smoke on the altar, but the breast shall be for Aaron and his sons.
Leviticus 7:32 - You shall give the right thigh to the priest as a contribution from the sacrifices of your peace offerings.
Leviticus 7:33 - The son of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat shall have the right thigh as his portion.
Leviticus 7:34 - For I have taken the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering from the Israelites, from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons as their perpetual portion from the Israelites.
Romans 5:1 - Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).
Romans 5:2 - Through Him we also have access by faith into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely] stand. Let us rejoice in our hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and power].
1 John 1:3 - what we have seen and heard we also proclaim to you, so that you too may have fellowship [as partners] with us. And indeed our fellowship [which is a distinguishing mark of born-again believers] is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 10:22 - let us approach [God] with a true and sincere heart in unqualified assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Amos 5:22 - Even though you offer Me your burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them; And I will not even look at the peace offerings of your fattened animals.
Numbers 6:14 - And he shall offer his gift to the Lord: one male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering, and one female lamb a year old without blemish as a sin offering, and one ram without blemish as a peace offering,
Leviticus 1:3 - If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish; he shall offer it at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting so that he may be accepted before the Lord.
