Jeremias 38:20 - “Eles não o entregarão”, Jeremias respondeu. “Obedeça ao Senhor fazendo o que eu digo, para que tudo corra bem a você e a sua vida seja poupada.

Jeremias 52:8 - mas os babilônios perseguiram o rei Zedequias e o alcançaram na planície de Jericó. Todos os seus soldados se separaram dele e se dispersaram,
Jeremias 52:9 - e ele foi capturado. Ele foi levado ao rei da Babilônia em Ribla, na terra de Hamate, que o sentenciou.
Jeremias 52:10 - Em Ribla, o rei da Babilônia mandou executar os filhos de Zedequias diante de seus olhos e também matou todos os nobres de Judá.
Jeremias 52:11 - Então mandou furar os olhos de Zedequias e prendê-lo com correntes de bronze e o levou para a Babilônia, onde o manteve na prisão até o dia de sua morte.
2 Reis 25:4 - Então o muro da cidade foi rompido, e todos os soldados fugiram de noite pela porta entre os dois muros próximos ao jardim do rei, embora os babilônios estivessem em torno da cidade. Fugiram na direção da Arabá ,

2 Reis 25:7 - Executaram os filhos de Zedequias na sua frente, furaram os seus olhos, prenderam-no com algemas de bronze e o levaram para a Babilônia.
Ezequiel 12:12 - “O príncipe deles porá a sua bagagem nos ombros ao entardecer e sairá por um buraco que será escavado no muro para ele passar. Ele cobrirá o rosto para que não possa ver nada do país.

2 Crônicas 32:5 - Depois, com grande empenho reparou todos os trechos quebrados do muro e construiu torres sobre ele. Construiu outro muro do lado de fora do primeiro e reforçou o Milo da Cidade de Davi; e mandou fazer também muitas lanças e muitos escudos.
