Jeremiah 39:1 - King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came against Jerusalem with his whole army and laid siege to it. The siege began in the tenth month of the ninth year that Zedekiah ruled over Judah.

Jeremiah 52:9 - They captured him and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the territory of Hamath and he passed sentence on him there.
Jeremiah 52:10 - The king of Babylon had Zedekiah’s sons put to death while Zedekiah was forced to watch. He also had all the nobles of Judah put to death there at Riblah.
Jeremiah 52:11 - He had Zedekiah’s eyes put out and had him bound in chains. Then the king of Babylon had him led off to Babylon and he was imprisoned there until the day he died.

Daniel 4:22 - it is you, O king! For you have become great and strong. Your greatness is such that it reaches to heaven, and your authority to the ends of the earth.
Daniel 5:19 - Due to the greatness that he bestowed on him, all peoples, nations, and language groups were trembling with fear before him. He killed whom he wished, he spared whom he wished, he exalted whom he wished, and he brought low whom he wished.
Jeremiah 34:7 - He did this while the army of the king of Babylon was attacking Jerusalem and the cities of Lachish and Azekah. He was attacking these cities because they were the only fortified cities of Judah which were still holding out.
Daniel 4:1 - (3:31) “King Nebuchadnezzar, to all peoples, nations, and language groups that live in all the land: Peace and prosperity!
2 Chronicles 36:12 - He did evil in the sight of the Lord his God. He did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, the Lord’s spokesman.
2 Chronicles 36:13 - He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him vow allegiance in the name of God. He was stubborn and obstinate, and refused to return to the Lord God of Israel.
2 Chronicles 36:14 - All the leaders of the priests and people became more unfaithful and committed the same horrible sins practiced by the nations. They defiled the Lord’s temple which he had consecrated in Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 36:15 - The Lord God of their ancestors continually warned them through his messengers, for he felt compassion for his people and his dwelling place.
2 Chronicles 36:16 - But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his warnings, and ridiculed his prophets. Finally the Lord got very angry at his people and there was no one who could prevent his judgment.
2 Chronicles 36:17 - He brought against them the king of the Babylonians, who slaughtered their young men in their temple. He did not spare young men or women, or even the old and aging. God handed everyone over to him.
Jeremiah 39:1 - King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came against Jerusalem with his whole army and laid siege to it. The siege began in the tenth month of the ninth year that Zedekiah ruled over Judah.
Jeremiah 39:2 - It lasted until the ninth day of the fourth month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year. On that day they broke through the city walls.
Jeremiah 39:3 - Then Nergal-Sharezer of Samgar, Nebo-Sarsekim, who was a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer, who was a high official, and all the other officers of the king of Babylon came and set up quarters in the Middle Gate.
Jeremiah 27:5 - “I made the earth and the people and animals on it by my mighty power and great strength, and I give it to whomever I see fit.
Jeremiah 27:6 - I have at this time placed all these nations of yours under the power of my servant, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. I have even made all the wild animals subject to him.
Jeremiah 27:7 - All nations must serve him and his son and grandson until the time comes for his own nation to fall. Then many nations and great kings will in turn subjugate Babylon.
Jeremiah 52:4 - King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came against Jerusalem with his whole army and set up camp outside it. They built siege ramps all around it. He arrived on the tenth day of the tenth month in the ninth year that Zedekiah ruled over Judah.
Jeremiah 52:5 - The city remained under siege until Zedekiah’s eleventh year.
Jeremiah 52:6 - By the ninth day of the fourth month the famine in the city was so severe the residents had no food.
Jeremiah 52:7 - They broke through the city walls, and all the soldiers tried to escape. They left the city during the night. They went through the gate between the two walls that is near the king’s garden. (The Babylonians had the city surrounded.) Then they headed for the Jordan Valley.
Jeremiah 52:8 - But the Babylonian army chased after the king. They caught up with Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and his entire army deserted him.
Jeremiah 52:9 - They captured him and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the territory of Hamath and he passed sentence on him there.
Jeremiah 52:10 - The king of Babylon had Zedekiah’s sons put to death while Zedekiah was forced to watch. He also had all the nobles of Judah put to death there at Riblah.
Jeremiah 52:11 - He had Zedekiah’s eyes put out and had him bound in chains. Then the king of Babylon had him led off to Babylon and he was imprisoned there until the day he died.
Daniel 2:37 - “You, O king, are the king of kings. The God of heaven has granted you sovereignty, power, strength, and honor.
Daniel 2:38 - Wherever human beings, wild animals, and birds of the sky live – he has given them into your power. He has given you authority over them all. You are the head of gold.

2 Kings 25:9 - He burned down the Lord’s temple, the royal palace, and all the houses in Jerusalem, including every large house.
Jeremiah 1:15 - For I will soon summon all the peoples of the kingdoms of the north,” says the Lord. “They will come and their kings will set up their thrones near the entrances of the gates of Jerusalem. They will attack all the walls surrounding it, and all the towns in Judah.
