2 Reyes 19:19 - Ahora, pues, Señor y Dios nuestro, por favor, sálvanos de su mano, para que todos los reinos de la tierra sepan que solo tú, Señor, eres Dios».
1 Samuel 6:2 - y los filisteos convocaron a los sacerdotes y a los adivinos para preguntarles: —¿Qué vamos a hacer con el arca del Señor? Dígannos de qué modo hay que devolverla a su lugar.
1 Samuel 6:3 - —Si piensan devolverla —contestaron—, no la manden sin nada; tienen que presentarle a Dios una ofrenda compensatoria. Entonces recobrarán la salud y sabrán por qué Dios no ha dejado de castigarlos.
1 Samuel 6:4 - —¿Y qué le debemos ofrecer? —preguntaron los filisteos. —Cinco figuras de oro en forma de tumor —respondieron aquellos— y otras cinco en forma de rata, conforme al número de jefes filisteos, pues la misma plaga los ha azotado a ustedes y a sus jefes.
1 Samuel 6:5 - Así que hagan imágenes de los tumores y de las ratas que han devastado el país, y den honra al Dios de Israel. Tal vez suavice su castigo contra ustedes, sus dioses y su tierra.
1 Samuel 6:6 - ¿Por qué se van a obstinar, como lo hicieron los egipcios bajo el faraón? ¿No es cierto que Dios tuvo que hacerles daño para que dejaran ir a los israelitas?
1 Samuel 6:7 - »Ahora manden a construir una carreta nueva. Escojan también dos vacas con cría y que nunca hayan llevado yugo. Aten las vacas a la carreta, pero encierren los becerros en el establo.
1 Samuel 6:8 - Tomen luego el arca del Señor y pónganla en la carreta. Coloquen una caja junto al arca, con los objetos de oro que van a entregarle a Dios como ofrenda compensatoria. Luego dejen que la carreta se vaya sola,
1 Samuel 6:9 - y obsérvenla. Si se va en dirección de Bet Semes, su propio territorio, eso quiere decir que el Señor es quien nos ha causado esta calamidad tan terrible. Pero, si la carreta se desvía para otro lugar, sabremos que no fue él quien nos hizo daño, sino que todo ha sido por casualidad».
Miqueas 5:13 - Acabaré con tus ídolos y con tus monumentos sagrados; nunca más volverás a postrarte ante las obras de tus manos.

Jueces 17:5 - Este Micaías tenía un santuario. Hizo un efod y algunos ídolos domésticos, y consagró a uno de sus hijos como sacerdote.
Jueces 18:2 - Desde Zora y Estaol los danitas enviaron a cinco de sus hombres más valientes, para que espiaran la tierra y la exploraran. Les dijeron: «Vayan, exploren la tierra». Los hombres entraron en la región montañosa de Efraín y llegaron hasta la casa de Micaías, donde pasaron la noche.
Jueces 18:14 - Entonces los cinco hombres que habían explorado la tierra de Lais les dijeron a sus hermanos: —¿Saben que una de esas casas tiene un efod, algunos dioses domésticos, una imagen tallada y un ídolo de fundición? Ahora bien, ustedes sabrán qué hacer.
