Deuteronomy 28:29 - and you will be groping about at noon, just as a person who is blind gropes in the darkness, and you will not be successful in your ways; but you will only be oppressed and robbed all the time, with no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:30 - You will betroth a woman, but another man will violate her; you will build a house, but you will not live in it; you will plant a vineyard, but you will not make use of its fruit.
Deuteronomy 28:31 - Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat of it; your donkey will be snatched away from you, and will not be restored to you; your sheep will be given to your enemies, and you will have no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:32 - Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people, while your eyes look on and long for them constantly; but there will be nothing you can do.
Deuteronomy 28:33 - A people whom you do not know will eat the produce of your ground and every product of your labor, and you will never be anything but oppressed and mistreated continually.
Deuteronomy 28:34 - You will also be driven insane by the sight of what you see.
Deuteronomy 28:35 - The Lord will strike you on the knees and thighs with severe boils from which you cannot be healed, and strike you from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.
Deuteronomy 28:36 - The Lord will bring you and your king, whom you appoint over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods, made of wood and stone.
Deuteronomy 28:37 - And you will become an object of horror, a song of mockery, and an object of taunting among all the peoples where the Lord drives you.
Deuteronomy 28:38 - “You will bring out a great amount of seed to the field, but you will gather in little, because the locust will devour it.
Deuteronomy 28:39 - You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but you will neither drink of the wine nor bring in the harvest, because the worm will eat it.
Deuteronomy 28:40 - You will have olive trees throughout your territory but you will not anoint yourself with the oil, because your olives will drop off prematurely.
Deuteronomy 28:41 - You will father sons and daughters but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.
Deuteronomy 28:42 - The cricket will take possession of all your trees and the produce of your ground.
Deuteronomy 28:43 - The stranger who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, and you will go down lower and lower.
Deuteronomy 28:44 - He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head, and you will be the tail.
Deuteronomy 28:45 - “So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.
Deuteronomy 28:46 - And they will become a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.
Deuteronomy 28:47 - “Since you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, in gratitude for the abundance of all things,
Deuteronomy 28:48 - you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and devoid of all things; and He will put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.
Deuteronomy 28:49 - “The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down; a nation whose language you will not understand,
Deuteronomy 28:50 - a nation with a defiant attitude, who will have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young.
Deuteronomy 28:51 - Furthermore, it will eat the offspring of your herd and the produce of your ground until you are destroyed; a nation that will leave you no grain, new wine, or oil, nor the newborn of your cattle or the young of your flock, until they have eliminated you.
Deuteronomy 28:52 - And it will besiege you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it will besiege you in all your towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you.
Deuteronomy 28:53 - Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.
Deuteronomy 28:54 - The man who is refined and very delicate among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife he cherishes, and toward the rest of his children who are left,
Deuteronomy 28:55 - so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children which he will eat, since he has nothing else left, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you in all your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:56 - The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,
Deuteronomy 28:57 - and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:58 - “If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,
Deuteronomy 28:59 - then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.

Daniel 3:20 - And he ordered certain valiant warriors who were in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in order to throw them into the furnace of blazing fire.
Daniel 3:21 - Then these men were tied up in their trousers, their coats, their caps, and their other clothes, and were thrown into the middle of the furnace of blazing fire.
Daniel 3:22 - For this reason, because the king’s command was harsh and the furnace had been made extremely hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
Daniel 3:23 - But these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell into the middle of the furnace of blazing fire still tied up.
Daniel 3:24 - Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astounded and stood up quickly; he said to his counselors, “Was it not three men that we threw bound into the middle of the fire?” They replied to the king, “Absolutely, O king.”
Daniel 3:25 - He responded, “Look! I see four men untied and walking about in the middle of the fire unharmed, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!”
Daniel 3:26 - Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the furnace of blazing fire; he said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego came out of the middle of the fire.
Daniel 3:27 - The satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men, nor was the hair of their heads singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had even the smell of fire touched them.
Daniel 3:28 - Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

Leviticus 26:9 - So I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will confirm My covenant with you.

Leviticus 26:38 - Instead, you will perish among the nations, and your enemies’ land will consume you.
Leviticus 26:39 - So those of you who may be left will rot away because of their wrongdoing in the lands of your enemies; and also because of the wrongdoing of their forefathers they will rot away with them.

Leviticus 26:41 - I also was acting with hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies—or if their uncircumcised heart is humbled so that they then make amends for their wrongdoing,
Leviticus 26:42 - then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and My covenant with Abraham as well, and I will remember the land.
Leviticus 26:43 - For the land will be abandoned by them, and will restore its Sabbaths while it is made desolate without them. They, meanwhile, will be making amends for their wrongdoing, because they rejected My ordinances and their soul loathed My statutes.
Leviticus 26:44 - Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so loathe them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God.
Leviticus 26:45 - But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, so that I might be their God. I am the Lord.’ ”

Deuteronomy 28:1 - “Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth.
Deuteronomy 28:2 - And all these blessings will come to you and reach you if you obey the Lord your God:
Deuteronomy 28:3 - “Blessed will you be in the city, and blessed will you be in the country.

Deuteronomy 28:12 - The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless every work of your hand; and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow.
Deuteronomy 28:13 - And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will only be above, and not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you today, to follow them carefully,

Deuteronomy 28:31 - Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat of it; your donkey will be snatched away from you, and will not be restored to you; your sheep will be given to your enemies, and you will have no one to save you.

Deuteronomy 28:55 - so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children which he will eat, since he has nothing else left, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you in all your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:56 - The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,
Deuteronomy 28:57 - and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.

Deuteronomy 28:59 - then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
Deuteronomy 28:60 - And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
Deuteronomy 28:61 - Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed.

Deuteronomy 28:67 - In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ And at evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the terror of your heart which you fear, and the sight of your eyes which you will see.
Deuteronomy 28:68 - And the Lord will bring you back to Egypt in ships, by the way about which I said to you, ‘You will never see it again!’ And there you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”

Daniel 3:16 - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego replied to the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we are not in need of an answer to give you concerning this matter.
Daniel 3:17 - If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will rescue us from your hand, O king.
Daniel 3:18 - But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods nor worship the golden statue that you have set up.”
Daniel 3:19 - Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath, and his facial expression was changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. He answered by giving orders to heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.
Daniel 3:20 - And he ordered certain valiant warriors who were in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in order to throw them into the furnace of blazing fire.
Daniel 3:21 - Then these men were tied up in their trousers, their coats, their caps, and their other clothes, and were thrown into the middle of the furnace of blazing fire.
Daniel 3:22 - For this reason, because the king’s command was harsh and the furnace had been made extremely hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
Daniel 3:23 - But these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell into the middle of the furnace of blazing fire still tied up.
Daniel 3:24 - Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astounded and stood up quickly; he said to his counselors, “Was it not three men that we threw bound into the middle of the fire?” They replied to the king, “Absolutely, O king.”
Daniel 3:25 - He responded, “Look! I see four men untied and walking about in the middle of the fire unharmed, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!”
Daniel 3:26 - Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the furnace of blazing fire; he said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego came out of the middle of the fire.
Daniel 3:27 - The satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men, nor was the hair of their heads singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had even the smell of fire touched them.
Daniel 3:28 - Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.
Ezra 8:22 - For I was ashamed to request from the king troops and horsemen to protect us from the enemy on the way, because we had said to the king, “The hand of our God is favorably disposed to all who seek Him, but His power and His anger are against all those who abandon Him.”

Daniel 5:24 - Then the hand was sent from Him and this inscription was written out.
Daniel 5:25 - “Now this is the inscription that was written: ‘ Menē, Menē, Tekēl, Upharsin.’
Daniel 5:26 - This is the interpretation of the message: ‘Menē’—God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it.
Daniel 5:27 - ‘Tekēl’—you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient.
Daniel 5:28 - ‘ Perēs’—your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”
Daniel 5:29 - Then Belshazzar gave orders, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a necklace of gold around his neck, and issued a proclamation concerning him that he now had authority as the third ruler in the kingdom.
Daniel 5:30 - That same night Belshazzar the Chaldean king was killed.
