  • Nahum 1:6 - Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.
  • Nahum 1:7 - Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

  • Psalms 83:14 - As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,
  • Psalms 83:15 - so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.
  • Psalms 83:16 - Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.
  • Psalms 83:17 - Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;
  • Psalms 83:18 - that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.
  • Isaiah 30:30 - Yahweh will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the descent of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, storm, and hailstones.
  • Isaiah 30:31 - For through Yahweh’s voice the Assyrian will be dismayed. He will strike him with his rod.
  • Isaiah 30:32 - Every stroke of the rod of punishment, which Yahweh will lay on him, will be with the sound of tambourines and harps. He will fight with them in battles, brandishing weapons.
