Isaiah 7:17 - Jehovah will bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah-even the king of Assyria.
Isaiah 7:18 - And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
Isaiah 7:19 - And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the clefts of the rocks, and upon all thorn-hedges, and upon all pastures.
Isaiah 7:20 - In that day will the Lord shave with a razor that is hired in the parts beyond the River, even with the king of Assyria, the head and the hair of the feet; and it shall also consume the beard.
Hosea 13:15 - Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the breath of Jehovah coming up from the wilderness; and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall make spoil of the treasure of all goodly vessels.
Hosea 13:16 - Samaria shall bear her guilt; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword; their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

Isaiah 24:1 - Behold, Jehovah maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
Isaiah 24:2 - And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest to him.
Isaiah 24:3 - The earth shall be utterly emptied, and utterly laid waste; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.
Isaiah 24:4 - The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the lofty people of the earth do languish.
Isaiah 24:5 - The earth also is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant.
Isaiah 24:6 - Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
Isaiah 24:7 - The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merry-hearted do sigh.
Isaiah 24:8 - The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
Isaiah 24:9 - They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
Isaiah 24:10 - The waste city is broken down; every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
Isaiah 24:11 - There is a crying in the streets because of the wine; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
Isaiah 24:12 - In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
Amos 3:11 - Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An adversary there shall be, even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be plundered.
Amos 3:12 - Thus saith Jehovah: As the shepherd rescueth out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel be rescued that sit in Samaria in the corner of a couch, and on the silken cushions of a bed.
Amos 3:13 - Hear ye, and testify against the house of Jacob, saith the Lord Jehovah, the God of hosts.
Amos 3:14 - For in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, I will also visit the altars of Beth-el; and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
Amos 3:15 - And I will smite the winter-house with the summer-house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith Jehovah.
Isaiah 27:10 - For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
