  • Jeremiah 25:20 - and to all the foreign people, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines (that is, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);
  • Jeremiah 25:21 - To Edom, Moab, and the sons of Ammon;
  • Jeremiah 25:22 - and to all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastlands which are beyond the sea;

  • Ezekiel 25:2 - “Son of man, set your face against the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them,

  • Jeremiah 52:8 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the desert plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him.
  • Jeremiah 52:9 - Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.
  • Jeremiah 52:10 - And the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also slaughtered all the commanders of Judah in Riblah.
  • Jeremiah 52:11 - Then he blinded the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him with bronze shackles and brought him to Babylon and put him in prison until the day of his death.
  • Jeremiah 52:12 - Now on the tenth day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard, who was in the service of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

  • Jeremiah 52:17 - Now the bronze pillars which belonged to the house of the Lord and the stands and the bronze sea, which were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans smashed to pieces and carried all their bronze to Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 52:18 - They also took the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the pans, and all the bronze vessels which were used in temple service.
  • Jeremiah 52:19 - The captain of the guard also took the bowls, the firepans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the pans, and the drink offering bowls, whatever was fine gold, and whatever was fine silver.
  • Jeremiah 52:20 - The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord—the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.
  • Jeremiah 52:21 - As for the pillars, the height of each pillar was eighteen cubits, and it was twelve cubits in circumference and four fingers in thickness, and hollow.
  • Jeremiah 52:22 - Also, a capital of bronze was on top of it; and the height of each capital was five cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, including pomegranates.

  • Jeremiah 52:24 - Then the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three officers of the temple.
  • Jeremiah 52:25 - He also took from the city one official who was overseer of the warriors, seven of the king’s advisers who were found in the city, the scribe of the commander of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men from the people of the land who were found inside the city.

  • Jeremiah 25:20 - and to all the foreign people, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines (that is, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);
  • Jeremiah 25:21 - To Edom, Moab, and the sons of Ammon;
  • Jeremiah 25:22 - and to all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastlands which are beyond the sea;

  • Jeremiah 25:26 - and to all the kings of the north, near and far, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the earth which are on the face of the ground; and the king of Sheshach shall drink it after them.
  • Ezekiel 25:1 - And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
  • Ezekiel 25:2 - “Son of man, set your face against the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them,
  • Ezekiel 25:3 - and say to the sons of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord God! This is what the Lord God says: “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile,
  • Ezekiel 25:4 - therefore, behold, I am going to give you to the people of the east as a possession, and they will set up their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your milk.
  • Ezekiel 25:5 - I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and the sons of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”
  • Ezekiel 25:6 - For this is what the Lord God says: “Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet, and have rejoiced with all the malice in your soul against the land of Israel,
  • Ezekiel 25:7 - therefore, behold, I have reached out with My hand against you and I will give you as plunder to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples and eliminate you from the lands. I will exterminate you. So you will know that I am the Lord.”
  • Ezekiel 25:8 - ‘The Lord God says this: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’
  • Ezekiel 25:9 - therefore, behold, I am going to deprive the flank of Moab of its cities, of its cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the land, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim;
  • Ezekiel 25:10 - and I will give it as a possession along with the sons of Ammon to the people of the east, so that the sons of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations.
  • Ezekiel 25:11 - So I will execute judgments on Moab, and they will know that I am the Lord.”
  • Ezekiel 25:12 - ‘The Lord God says this: “Because Edom has acted against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has incurred great guilt, and avenged themselves upon them,”
  • Ezekiel 25:13 - therefore this is what the Lord God says: “I will also reach out with My hand against Edom and eliminate human and animal life from it. And I will turn it into ruins; from Teman even to Dedan they will fall by the sword.
  • Ezekiel 25:14 - And I will inflict My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel. Therefore, they will act in Edom in accordance with My anger and My wrath; so they will know My vengeance,” declares the Lord God.

  • Jeremiah 52:1 - Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned for eleven years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
  • Jeremiah 52:2 - He did evil in the sight of the Lord, in accordance with everything that Jehoiakim had done.
  • Jeremiah 52:3 - For because of the anger of the Lord this came about in Jerusalem and Judah, until He drove them out from His presence. And Zedekiah revolted against the king of Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 52:4 - Now it came about in the ninth year of his reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, camped against it, and built a bulwark all around it.
  • Jeremiah 52:5 - So the city was under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
  • Jeremiah 52:6 - On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.
  • Jeremiah 52:7 - Then the city was breached, and all the warriors fled and left the city at night by way of the gate between the two walls which was by the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.
  • Jeremiah 52:8 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the desert plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him.
  • Jeremiah 52:9 - Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.
  • Jeremiah 52:10 - And the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also slaughtered all the commanders of Judah in Riblah.
  • Jeremiah 52:11 - Then he blinded the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him with bronze shackles and brought him to Babylon and put him in prison until the day of his death.
  • Jeremiah 52:12 - Now on the tenth day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard, who was in the service of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
  • Jeremiah 52:13 - And he burned the house of the Lord, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every large house he burned with fire.
  • Jeremiah 52:14 - So the entire army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard tore down all the walls around Jerusalem.
  • Jeremiah 52:15 - Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took into exile some of the poorest of the people, the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the craftsmen.
  • Jeremiah 52:16 - But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left some of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and farmers.
  • Jeremiah 52:17 - Now the bronze pillars which belonged to the house of the Lord and the stands and the bronze sea, which were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans smashed to pieces and carried all their bronze to Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 52:18 - They also took the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the pans, and all the bronze vessels which were used in temple service.
  • Jeremiah 52:19 - The captain of the guard also took the bowls, the firepans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the pans, and the drink offering bowls, whatever was fine gold, and whatever was fine silver.
  • Jeremiah 52:20 - The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord—the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.
  • Jeremiah 52:21 - As for the pillars, the height of each pillar was eighteen cubits, and it was twelve cubits in circumference and four fingers in thickness, and hollow.
  • Jeremiah 52:22 - Also, a capital of bronze was on top of it; and the height of each capital was five cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, including pomegranates.
  • Jeremiah 52:23 - There were ninety-six exposed pomegranates; all the pomegranates numbered a hundred on the latticework all around.
  • Jeremiah 52:24 - Then the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three officers of the temple.
  • Jeremiah 52:25 - He also took from the city one official who was overseer of the warriors, seven of the king’s advisers who were found in the city, the scribe of the commander of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men from the people of the land who were found inside the city.
  • Jeremiah 52:26 - Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguards took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
  • Jeremiah 52:27 - Then the king of Babylon struck them and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was led into exile from its land.
  • Jeremiah 52:28 - These are the people whom Nebuchadnezzar took into exile: in the seventh year 3,023 Jews;
  • Jeremiah 52:29 - in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar 832 persons from Jerusalem;
