2 Kings 25:17 - The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a bronze capital was on it; the height of the capital was three cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, same features with latticework.

Deuteronomy 28:36 - The Lord will bring you and your king, whom you appoint over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods, made of wood and stone.
Deuteronomy 28:37 - And you will become an object of horror, a song of mockery, and an object of taunting among all the peoples where the Lord drives you.
Deuteronomy 28:38 - “You will bring out a great amount of seed to the field, but you will gather in little, because the locust will devour it.
Deuteronomy 28:39 - You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but you will neither drink of the wine nor bring in the harvest, because the worm will eat it.
Deuteronomy 28:40 - You will have olive trees throughout your territory but you will not anoint yourself with the oil, because your olives will drop off prematurely.
Deuteronomy 28:41 - You will father sons and daughters but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.
Deuteronomy 28:42 - The cricket will take possession of all your trees and the produce of your ground.
Deuteronomy 28:43 - The stranger who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, and you will go down lower and lower.
Deuteronomy 28:44 - He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head, and you will be the tail.
Deuteronomy 28:45 - “So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.
Deuteronomy 28:46 - And they will become a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.
Deuteronomy 28:47 - “Since you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, in gratitude for the abundance of all things,
Deuteronomy 28:48 - you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and devoid of all things; and He will put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.
Deuteronomy 28:49 - “The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down; a nation whose language you will not understand,
Deuteronomy 28:50 - a nation with a defiant attitude, who will have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young.
Deuteronomy 28:51 - Furthermore, it will eat the offspring of your herd and the produce of your ground until you are destroyed; a nation that will leave you no grain, new wine, or oil, nor the newborn of your cattle or the young of your flock, until they have eliminated you.
Deuteronomy 28:52 - And it will besiege you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it will besiege you in all your towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you.
Deuteronomy 28:53 - Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.
Deuteronomy 28:54 - The man who is refined and very delicate among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife he cherishes, and toward the rest of his children who are left,
Deuteronomy 28:55 - so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children which he will eat, since he has nothing else left, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you in all your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:56 - The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,
Deuteronomy 28:57 - and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:58 - “If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,
Deuteronomy 28:59 - then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
Deuteronomy 28:60 - And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
Deuteronomy 28:61 - Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:62 - Then you will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you did not obey the Lord your God.
Deuteronomy 28:63 - And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.
Deuteronomy 28:64 - Furthermore, the Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will serve other gods, made of wood and stone, which you and your fathers have not known.
Deuteronomy 28:65 - Among those nations you will find no peace, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.
Deuteronomy 28:66 - So your lives will be hanging in doubt before you; and you will be terrified night and day, and have no assurance of your life.
Deuteronomy 28:67 - In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ And at evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the terror of your heart which you fear, and the sight of your eyes which you will see.

2 Kings 25:10 - So all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the bodyguards tore down the walls around Jerusalem.
2 Kings 25:11 - Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the bodyguards, led into exile the rest of the people who were left in the city and the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the people.
2 Kings 25:12 - But the captain of the bodyguards left some of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and farmers.
2 Kings 25:13 - Now the Chaldeans smashed to pieces the bronze pillars which were in the house of the Lord, and the stands and the bronze Sea which were in the house of the Lord, and carried the bronze to Babylon.
2 Kings 25:14 - And they took away the pots, the shovels, the shears, the spoons, and all the bronze utensils which were used in temple service.
2 Kings 25:15 - The captain of the bodyguards also took away the firepans and the basins, what was fine gold and what was fine silver.
2 Kings 25:16 - The two pillars, the one Sea, and the stands which Solomon had made for the house of the Lord— the bronze of all these articles was too heavy to weigh.
2 Kings 25:17 - The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a bronze capital was on it; the height of the capital was three cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, same features with latticework.
2 Kings 25:18 - Then the captain of the bodyguards took Seraiah the chief priest and Zephaniah the second priest, with the three doorkeepers.
2 Kings 25:19 - And from the city he took one official who was overseer of the men of war, and five of the king’s advisers who were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the army who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city.
2 Kings 25:20 - Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguards took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
2 Kings 25:21 - Then the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah went into exile from its land.
2 Kings 25:22 - Now as for the people who were left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, he appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan over them.
2 Kings 25:23 - When all the captains of the forces, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah at Mizpah, namely, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, Johanan the son of Kareah, Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.
2 Kings 25:24 - And Gedaliah swore to them and their men and said to them, “Do not be afraid of the servants of the Chaldeans; live in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will go well for you.”
2 Kings 25:25 - But it happened in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal family, came with ten men and struck Gedaliah down so that he died along with the Jews and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah.
2 Kings 25:26 - Then all the people, from the small to the great, and the captains of the forces set out and came to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.
2 Kings 25:27 - Now it came about in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he became king, released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison;
2 Kings 25:28 - and he spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon.
2 Kings 25:29 - So Jehoiachin changed his prison clothes, and had his meals in the king’s presence regularly all the days of his life;
2 Kings 25:30 - and as his allowance, a regular allowance was given to him by the king, a portion for each day, all the days of his life.
Judges 4:2 - So the Lord sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; and the commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth-hagoyim.
1 Kings 9:6 - “But if you or your sons indeed turn away from following Me, and do not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have placed before you, but you go and serve other gods and worship them,
1 Kings 9:7 - then I will cut Israel off from the land which I have given them, and the house which I have consecrated for My name, I will expel from My sight. So Israel will become a saying and an object of derision among all peoples.
1 Kings 9:8 - And this house will become a heap of ruins; everyone who passes by it will be appalled and hiss and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and this house?’
1 Kings 9:9 - And they will say, ‘Because they abandoned the Lord their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and they adopted other gods and worshiped and served them, for that reason the Lord has brought all this adversity on them.’ ”
Daniel 9:5 - we have sinned, we have done wrong, and acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances.
Deuteronomy 29:24 - All the nations will say, ‘Why has the Lord done all this to this land? Why this great outburst of anger?’
Deuteronomy 29:25 - Then people will say, ‘It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 29:26 - And they went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they have not known and whom He had not assigned to them.
Deuteronomy 29:27 - Therefore, the anger of the Lord burned against that land, to bring upon it every curse which is written in this book;
Deuteronomy 29:28 - and the Lord uprooted them from their land in anger, fury, and in great wrath, and hurled them into another land, as it is this day.’
Deuteronomy 28:15 - “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
Deuteronomy 28:16 - “Cursed will you be in the city, and cursed will you be in the country.
Deuteronomy 28:17 - “Cursed will be your basket and your kneading bowl.
Deuteronomy 28:18 - “Cursed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, the newborn of your herd, and the offspring of your flock.
Deuteronomy 28:19 - “Cursed will you be when you come in, and cursed will you be when you go out.
Deuteronomy 28:20 - “The Lord will send against you curses, panic, and rebuke, in everything you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have abandoned Me.
Deuteronomy 28:21 - The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has eliminated you from the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
Deuteronomy 28:22 - The Lord will strike you with consumption, inflammation, fever, feverish heat, and with the sword, with blight, and with mildew, and they will pursue you until you perish.
Deuteronomy 28:23 - The heaven which is over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you, iron.
Deuteronomy 28:24 - The Lord will make the rain of your land powder and dust; from heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:25 - “The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies; you will go out one way against them, but you will flee seven ways from their presence, and you will be an example of terror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
Deuteronomy 28:26 - Your dead bodies will serve as food for all birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.
Deuteronomy 28:27 - “The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, the festering rash, and with scabies, from which you cannot be healed.
Deuteronomy 28:28 - The Lord will strike you with insanity, blindness, and with confusion of mind;
Deuteronomy 28:29 - and you will be groping about at noon, just as a person who is blind gropes in the darkness, and you will not be successful in your ways; but you will only be oppressed and robbed all the time, with no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:30 - You will betroth a woman, but another man will violate her; you will build a house, but you will not live in it; you will plant a vineyard, but you will not make use of its fruit.
Deuteronomy 28:31 - Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat of it; your donkey will be snatched away from you, and will not be restored to you; your sheep will be given to your enemies, and you will have no one to save you.
Deuteronomy 28:32 - Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people, while your eyes look on and long for them constantly; but there will be nothing you can do.
Deuteronomy 28:33 - A people whom you do not know will eat the produce of your ground and every product of your labor, and you will never be anything but oppressed and mistreated continually.
Deuteronomy 28:34 - You will also be driven insane by the sight of what you see.
Deuteronomy 28:35 - The Lord will strike you on the knees and thighs with severe boils from which you cannot be healed, and strike you from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.
Deuteronomy 28:36 - The Lord will bring you and your king, whom you appoint over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods, made of wood and stone.
Deuteronomy 28:37 - And you will become an object of horror, a song of mockery, and an object of taunting among all the peoples where the Lord drives you.
Deuteronomy 28:38 - “You will bring out a great amount of seed to the field, but you will gather in little, because the locust will devour it.
Deuteronomy 28:39 - You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but you will neither drink of the wine nor bring in the harvest, because the worm will eat it.
Deuteronomy 28:40 - You will have olive trees throughout your territory but you will not anoint yourself with the oil, because your olives will drop off prematurely.
Deuteronomy 28:41 - You will father sons and daughters but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.
Deuteronomy 28:42 - The cricket will take possession of all your trees and the produce of your ground.
Deuteronomy 28:43 - The stranger who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, and you will go down lower and lower.
Deuteronomy 28:44 - He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head, and you will be the tail.
Deuteronomy 28:45 - “So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.
Deuteronomy 28:46 - And they will become a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.
Deuteronomy 28:47 - “Since you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, in gratitude for the abundance of all things,
Deuteronomy 28:48 - you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and devoid of all things; and He will put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.
Deuteronomy 28:49 - “The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down; a nation whose language you will not understand,
Deuteronomy 28:50 - a nation with a defiant attitude, who will have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young.
Deuteronomy 28:51 - Furthermore, it will eat the offspring of your herd and the produce of your ground until you are destroyed; a nation that will leave you no grain, new wine, or oil, nor the newborn of your cattle or the young of your flock, until they have eliminated you.
Deuteronomy 28:52 - And it will besiege you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it will besiege you in all your towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you.
Deuteronomy 28:53 - Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.
Deuteronomy 28:54 - The man who is refined and very delicate among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife he cherishes, and toward the rest of his children who are left,
Deuteronomy 28:55 - so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children which he will eat, since he has nothing else left, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you in all your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:56 - The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,
Deuteronomy 28:57 - and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.
Deuteronomy 28:58 - “If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,
Deuteronomy 28:59 - then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
Deuteronomy 28:60 - And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
Deuteronomy 28:61 - Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:62 - Then you will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you did not obey the Lord your God.
Deuteronomy 28:63 - And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.
Deuteronomy 28:64 - Furthermore, the Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will serve other gods, made of wood and stone, which you and your fathers have not known.
Deuteronomy 28:65 - Among those nations you will find no peace, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.
Deuteronomy 28:66 - So your lives will be hanging in doubt before you; and you will be terrified night and day, and have no assurance of your life.
Deuteronomy 28:67 - In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ And at evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the terror of your heart which you fear, and the sight of your eyes which you will see.
Deuteronomy 28:68 - And the Lord will bring you back to Egypt in ships, by the way about which I said to you, ‘You will never see it again!’ And there you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”
Isaiah 59:1 - Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear.
Isaiah 59:2 - But your wrongdoings have caused a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
2 Chronicles 36:6 - Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against him and bound him with bronze chains to take him to Babylon.
2 Chronicles 36:7 - Nebuchadnezzar also brought some of the articles of the house of the Lord to Babylon, and he put them in his temple in Babylon.
2 Chronicles 36:8 - Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim and the abominations which he committed, and what was found against him, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah. And his son Jehoiachin became king in his place.
2 Chronicles 36:9 - Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned for three months and ten days in Jerusalem. He did evil in the sight of the Lord.
2 Chronicles 36:10 - At the turn of the year King Nebuchadnezzar sent men and had him brought to Babylon with the valuable articles of the house of the Lord; and he made his relative Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 7:19 - “But if you turn away and abandon My statutes and My commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,
2 Chronicles 7:20 - then I will uproot you from My land which I have given you, and this house which I have consecrated for My name I will cast out of My sight; and I will make it a proverb and an object of scorn among all peoples.
2 Chronicles 7:21 - As for this house, which was exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, ‘Why has the Lord done these things to this land and to this house?’
2 Chronicles 7:22 - And they will say, ‘Because they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers, who brought them from the land of Egypt, and they adopted other gods, and worshiped and served them; therefore He has brought all this adversity on them.’ ”
Daniel 1:1 - In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.
Daniel 1:2 - And the Lord handed Jehoiakim king of Judah over to him, along with some of the vessels of the house of God; and he brought them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his god, and he brought the vessels into the treasury of his god.
Psalms 106:40 - Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against His people, And He loathed His inheritance.
Nehemiah 9:26 - “But they became rebellious and revolted against You, And threw Your Law behind their backs And killed Your prophets who had admonished them In order to bring them back to You, And they committed great blasphemies.
Nehemiah 9:27 - Therefore You handed them over to their enemies who oppressed them, But when they cried out to You in the time of their distress, You heard from heaven, and according to Your great compassion You gave them people who saved them from the hand of their enemies.
2 Kings 24:2 - And the Lord sent against him bands of Chaldeans, bands of Arameans, bands of Moabites, and bands of Ammonites. He sent them against Judah to destroy it, in accordance with the word of the Lord which He had spoken through His servants the prophets.
2 Chronicles 36:16 - but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against His people, until there was no remedy.
2 Chronicles 36:17 - So He brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or frail; He handed them all over to him.
