Ezekiel 29:6 - Then all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the Lord. “Because you have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel,
Ezekiel 29:7 - when they grasped you with the hand, you broke and tore all their shoulders; and when they leaned on you, you broke and made all their loins to shake.
Ezekiel 35:3 - and say to it, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and a waste.
Lamentations 2:15 - All who pass along the way clap their hands at you; they hiss and wag their heads at the daughter of Jerusalem: “Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of all the earth?”
Lamentations 2:16 - All your enemies rail against you; they hiss, they gnash their teeth, they cry: “We have swallowed her! Ah, this is the day we longed for; now we have it; we see it!”
Lamentations 2:17 - The Lord has done what he purposed; he has carried out his word, which he commanded long ago; he has thrown down without pity; he has made the enemy rejoice over you and exalted the might of your foes.
Deuteronomy 29:20 - The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the Lord and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book will settle upon him, and the Lord will blot out his name from under heaven.
Deuteronomy 29:23 - the whole land burned out with brimstone and salt, nothing sown and nothing growing, where no plant can sprout, an overthrow like that of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in his anger and wrath—
Deuteronomy 29:24 - all the nations will say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land? What caused the heat of this great anger?’
Deuteronomy 29:25 - Then people will say, ‘It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,
Deuteronomy 29:26 - and went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods whom they had not known and whom he had not allotted to them.
Deuteronomy 29:27 - Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, bringing upon it all the curses written in this book,
Deuteronomy 29:28 - and the Lord uprooted them from their land in anger and fury and great wrath, and cast them into another land, as they are this day.’
1 Kings 9:8 - And this house will become a heap of ruins. Everyone passing by it will be astonished and will hiss, and they will say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’
1 Kings 9:9 - Then they will say, ‘Because they abandoned the Lord their God who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore the Lord has brought all this disaster on them.’”
Ezekiel 35:10 - “Because you said, ‘These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will take possession of them’—although the Lord was there—
Ezekiel 35:11 - therefore, as I live, declares the Lord God, I will deal with you according to the anger and envy that you showed because of your hatred against them. And I will make myself known among them, when I judge you.
Ezekiel 35:12 - And you shall know that I am the Lord. “I have heard all the revilings that you uttered against the mountains of Israel, saying, ‘They are laid desolate; they are given us to devour.’
Ezekiel 35:13 - And you magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and multiplied your words against me; I heard it.
Ezekiel 35:14 - Thus says the Lord God: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
Ezekiel 35:15 - As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so I will deal with you; you shall be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
Leviticus 26:17 - I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck down before your enemies. Those who hate you shall rule over you, and you shall flee when none pursues you.
Leviticus 26:18 - And if in spite of this you will not listen to me, then I will discipline you again sevenfold for your sins,
Leviticus 26:19 - and I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.
Leviticus 26:20 - And your strength shall be spent in vain, for your land shall not yield its increase, and the trees of the land shall not yield their fruit.
Leviticus 26:21 - “Then if you walk contrary to me and will not listen to me, I will continue striking you, sevenfold for your sins.
Leviticus 26:22 - And I will let loose the wild beasts against you, which shall bereave you of your children and destroy your livestock and make you few in number, so that your roads shall be deserted.
Leviticus 26:23 - “And if by this discipline you are not turned to me but walk contrary to me,
Leviticus 26:24 - then I also will walk contrary to you, and I myself will strike you sevenfold for your sins.
Leviticus 26:25 - And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute vengeance for the covenant. And if you gather within your cities, I will send pestilence among you, and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
Leviticus 26:26 - When I break your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in a single oven and shall dole out your bread again by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.
Leviticus 26:27 - “But if in spite of this you will not listen to me, but walk contrary to me,
Leviticus 26:28 - then I will walk contrary to you in fury, and I myself will discipline you sevenfold for your sins.
Leviticus 26:29 - You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters.
Leviticus 26:30 - And I will destroy your high places and cut down your incense altars and cast your dead bodies upon the dead bodies of your idols, and my soul will abhor you.
Leviticus 26:31 - And I will lay your cities waste and will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell your pleasing aromas.
Leviticus 26:32 - And I myself will devastate the land, so that your enemies who settle in it shall be appalled at it.
Leviticus 26:33 - And I will scatter you among the nations, and I will unsheathe the sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.
Leviticus 26:34 - “Then the land shall enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate, while you are in your enemies’ land; then the land shall rest, and enjoy its Sabbaths.
Leviticus 26:35 - As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, the rest that it did not have on your Sabbaths when you were dwelling in it.
Leviticus 26:36 - And as for those of you who are left, I will send faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a driven leaf shall put them to flight, and they shall flee as one flees from the sword, and they shall fall when none pursues.
Leviticus 26:37 - They shall stumble over one another, as if to escape a sword, though none pursues. And you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
Leviticus 26:38 - And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
Leviticus 26:39 - And those of you who are left shall rot away in your enemies’ lands because of their iniquity, and also because of the iniquities of their fathers they shall rot away like them.
Leviticus 26:40 - “But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they committed against me, and also in walking contrary to me,
Leviticus 26:41 - so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies—if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled and they make amends for their iniquity,
Leviticus 26:42 - then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.
Leviticus 26:43 - But the land shall be abandoned by them and enjoy its Sabbaths while it lies desolate without them, and they shall make amends for their iniquity, because they spurned my rules and their soul abhorred my statutes.
Leviticus 26:44 - Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not spurn them, neither will I abhor them so as to destroy them utterly and break my covenant with them, for I am the Lord their God.
Leviticus 26:45 - But I will for their sake remember the covenant with their forefathers, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the Lord.”
Leviticus 26:46 - These are the statutes and rules and laws that the Lord made between himself and the people of Israel through Moses on Mount Sinai.
Matthew 22:7 - The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

Ezekiel 25:6 - For thus says the Lord God: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the malice within your soul against the land of Israel,
Ezekiel 39:1 - “And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.
Jeremiah 50:7 - All who found them have devoured them, and their enemies have said, ‘We are not guilty, for they have sinned against the Lord, their habitation of righteousness, the Lord, the hope of their fathers.’
Lamentations 2:5 - The Lord has become like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel; he has swallowed up all its palaces; he has laid in ruins its strongholds, and he has multiplied in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.
Zechariah 14:2 - For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zechariah 14:3 - Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle.
Lamentations 3:3 - surely against me he turns his hand again and again the whole day long.
Jeremiah 22:8 - “‘And many nations will pass by this city, and every man will say to his neighbor, “Why has the Lord dealt thus with this great city?”
Jeremiah 22:9 - And they will answer, “Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God and worshiped other gods and served them.”’”
Ezekiel 28:22 - and say, Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Sidon, and I will manifest my glory in your midst. And they shall know that I am the Lord when I execute judgments in her and manifest my holiness in her;

Ezekiel 26:3 - therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will bring up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves.
Jeremiah 21:13 - “Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, O rock of the plain, declares the Lord; you who say, ‘Who shall come down against us, or who shall enter our habitations?’
Jeremiah 21:5 - I myself will fight against you with outstretched hand and strong arm, in anger and in fury and in great wrath.
Ezekiel 21:3 - and say to the land of Israel, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am against you and will draw my sword from its sheath and will cut off from you both righteous and wicked.
Jeremiah 24:9 - I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a reproach, a byword, a taunt, and a curse in all the places where I shall drive them.
Ezekiel 15:7 - And I will set my face against them. Though they escape from the fire, the fire shall yet consume them, and you will know that I am the Lord, when I set my face against them.
