- Leviticus 23:29 - If there is any person who does not humble himself on this very day, he shall be cut off from his people.
- Leviticus 23:30 - As for any person who does any work on this very day, that person I will eliminate from among his people.
- Leviticus 23:31 - You shall not do any work. It is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
- Leviticus 23:32 - It is to be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you shall humble yourselves; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening, you shall keep your Sabbath.”
- Leviticus 23:33 - Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
- Leviticus 23:34 - “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the Lord.
- Leviticus 23:35 - On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.
- Leviticus 23:36 - For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the Lord; it is an assembly. You shall not do any laborious work.
- Leviticus 23:37 - ‘These are the appointed times of the Lord which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to the Lord—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each day’s matter on its own day—
- Leviticus 23:38 - besides those of the Sabbaths of the Lord, and besides your gifts and besides all your vowed and voluntary offerings, which you give to the Lord.
- Leviticus 23:39 - ‘On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day.
- Leviticus 23:40 - Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and branches of trees with thick branches and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.
- Leviticus 23:41 - So you shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
- Leviticus 23:42 - You shall live in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths,
- Leviticus 23:43 - so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’ ”
- Leviticus 23:44 - So Moses declared to the sons of Israel the appointed times of the Lord.
- Numbers 28:1 - Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
- Numbers 28:2 - “Command the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘You shall be careful to present to Me My offering, My food for My offerings by fire, of a soothing aroma to Me, at their appointed time.’
- Numbers 28:3 - And you shall say to them, ‘This is the offering by fire which you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs one year old without defect as a continual burnt offering every day.
- Numbers 28:4 - You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight;
- Numbers 28:5 - also a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with a fourth of a hin of pure oil.
- Numbers 28:6 - It is a continual burnt offering which was ordained on Mount Sinai as a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.
- Numbers 28:7 - Then the drink offering with it shall be a fourth of a hin for each lamb; in the Holy Place pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord.
- Numbers 28:8 - The other lamb you shall offer at twilight; as the grain offering of the morning and as its drink offering, you shall offer it, an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the Lord.
- Numbers 28:9 - ‘Then on the Sabbath day two male lambs one year old without defect, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering:
- Numbers 28:10 - This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.
- Numbers 28:11 - ‘Then at the beginning of each of your months you shall present a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls and one ram, seven male lambs one year old without defect;
- Numbers 28:12 - and three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, for each bull; and two-tenths of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, for the one ram;
- Numbers 28:13 - and a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each lamb, as a burnt offering of a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.
- Numbers 28:14 - Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull and a third of a hin for the ram and a fourth of a hin for a lamb; this is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.
- Numbers 28:15 - And one male goat as a sin offering to the Lord; it shall be offered with its drink offering in addition to the continual burnt offering.
- Numbers 28:16 - ‘The Lord’s Passover shall be on the fourteenth day of the first month.
- Numbers 28:17 - On the fifteenth day of this month there shall be a feast; unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days.
- Numbers 28:18 - On the first day there shall be a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work.
- Numbers 28:19 - But you shall present an offering by fire, a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls and one ram, and seven male lambs one year old, that you have without defect.
- Numbers 28:20 - For their grain offering, you shall offer fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for a bull, and two-tenths for the ram.
- Numbers 28:21 - A tenth of an ephah you shall offer for each of the seven lambs;
- Numbers 28:22 - and one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
- Numbers 28:23 - You shall present these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.
- Numbers 28:24 - In this way you shall present daily, for seven days, the food of the offering by fire, of a soothing aroma to the Lord; it shall be presented with its drink offering in addition to the continual burnt offering.
- Numbers 28:25 - On the seventh day you shall have a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work.
- Numbers 28:26 - ‘Also on the day of the first fruits, when you present a new grain offering to the Lord in your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work.
- Numbers 28:27 - But you shall offer a burnt offering as a soothing aroma to the Lord: two bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old;
- Numbers 28:28 - and as their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram,
- Numbers 28:29 - and a tenth for each of the seven lambs;
- 2 Chronicles 30:24 - For Hezekiah king of Judah had contributed to the assembly a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the princes had contributed to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep; and a large number of priests consecrated themselves.
- Ezekiel 43:27 - When they have completed the days, it shall be that on the eighth day and onward, the priests shall offer your burnt offerings on the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you,’ declares the Lord God.”
- 1 Kings 8:63 - And Solomon offered for the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to the Lord, twenty-two thousand oxen and 120,000 sheep. So the king and all the sons of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord.
- 1 Kings 8:64 - On the same day the king consecrated the middle of the courtyard that was in front of the house of the Lord, because there he offered the burnt offering, the grain offering, and the fat of the peace offerings; for the bronze altar that was before the Lord was too small to hold the burnt offering, the grain offering, and the fat of the peace offerings.
- Ezekiel 46:4 - The burnt offering which the prince shall offer to the Lord on the Sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish and a ram without blemish;
- Ezekiel 46:5 - and the grain offering shall be an ephah with the ram, and the grain offering with the lambs as much as he is able to give, and a hin of oil with an ephah.
- Ezekiel 46:6 - On the day of the new moon he shall offer a bull without blemish, and six lambs and a ram, which shall be without blemish.
- Ezekiel 46:7 - And he shall provide a grain offering, an ephah with the bull and an ephah with the ram, and with the lambs as much as he is able, and a hin of oil with an ephah.
- Ezekiel 46:8 - When the prince enters, he shall go in by way of the porch of the gate, and go out by the same way.
- Ezekiel 46:9 - But when the people of the land come before the Lord at the appointed feasts, one who enters by way of the north gate to worship shall go out by way of the south gate. And one who enters by way of the south gate shall go out by way of the north gate. No one shall return by way of the gate by which he entered, but shall go straight out.
- Ezekiel 46:10 - And when they go in, the prince shall go in among them; and when they go out, he shall go out.
- Ezekiel 46:11 - “At the festivals and the appointed feasts, the grain offering shall be an ephah with a bull and an ephah with a ram, and with the lambs as much as one is able to give, and a hin of oil with an ephah.
- Ezekiel 46:12 - And when the prince provides a voluntary offering, a burnt offering, or peace offerings as a voluntary offering to the Lord, the gate facing east shall be opened for him. And he shall provide his burnt offering and his peace offerings as he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and the gate shall be shut after he goes out.
- Isaiah 66:23 - And it shall be from new moon to new moon And from Sabbath to Sabbath, All mankind will come to bow down before Me,” says the Lord.
- 2 Chronicles 31:3 - He also appointed the king’s portion of his property for the burnt offerings, namely, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths and for the new moons and for the appointed festivals, as it is written in the Law of the Lord.
