Jeremiah 23:8 - but, ‘As the Lord lives, who brought up and led the descendants of the household of Israel back from the north land and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ Then they will live on their own soil.”
Isaiah 13:1 - The pronouncement concerning Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw:
Isaiah 13:2 - Lift up a flag on the bare hill, Raise your voice to them, Wave the hand that they may enter the doors of the nobles.
Isaiah 13:3 - I have commanded My consecrated ones, I have also called for My warriors Who boast in My eminence, To execute My anger.
Isaiah 13:4 - A sound of a roar on the mountains, Like that of many people! A sound of an uproar of kingdoms, Of nations gathered together! The Lord of armies is mustering the army for battle.
Isaiah 13:5 - They are coming from a distant country, From the farthest horizons, The Lord and the weapons of His indignation, To destroy the whole land.
Isaiah 13:6 - Wail, for the day of the Lord is near! It will come as destruction from the Almighty.
Isaiah 13:7 - Therefore all hands will fall limp, And every human heart will melt.
Isaiah 13:8 - They will be terrified, Pains and anguish will take hold of them; They will writhe like a woman in labor, They will look at one another in astonishment, Their faces aflame.
Isaiah 13:9 - Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, Cruel, with fury and burning anger, To make the land a desolation; And He will exterminate its sinners from it.
Isaiah 13:10 - For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not flash their light; The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light.
Isaiah 13:11 - So I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their wrongdoing; I will also put an end to the audacity of the proud And humiliate the arrogance of the tyrants.
Isaiah 13:12 - I will make mortal man scarcer than pure gold And mankind than the gold of Ophir.
Isaiah 13:13 - Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, And the earth will be shaken from its place At the fury of the Lord of armies In the day of His burning anger.
Isaiah 13:14 - And it will be that, like a hunted gazelle, Or like sheep with no one to gather them, Each of them will turn to his own people, And each of them will flee to his own land.
Isaiah 13:15 - Anyone who is found will be thrust through, And anyone who is captured will fall by the sword.
Isaiah 13:16 - Their little ones also will be dashed to pieces Before their eyes; Their houses will be plundered And their wives raped.
Isaiah 13:17 - Behold, I am going to stir up the Medes against them, Who will not value silver or take pleasure in gold.
Isaiah 13:18 - And their bows will mow down the young men, They will not even have compassion on the fruit of the womb, Nor will their eye pity children.
Isaiah 13:19 - And Babylon, the beauty of kingdoms, the glory of the Chaldeans’ pride, Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
Isaiah 13:20 - It will never be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation; Nor will the Arab pitch his tent there, Nor will shepherds allow their flocks to lie down there.
Isaiah 13:21 - But desert creatures will lie down there, And their houses will be full of owls; Ostriches also will live there, and shaggy goats will frolic there.
Ezekiel 34:25 - “And I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful animals from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
Ezekiel 34:26 - I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will make showers fall in their season; they will be showers of blessing.
Ezekiel 34:27 - Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its produce, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have saved them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
Ezekiel 34:28 - They will no longer be plunder to the nations, and the animals of the earth will not devour them; but they will live securely, and no one will make them afraid.
Amos 9:13 - “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “When the plowman will overtake the reaper, And the one who treads grapes will overtake him who sows the seed; When the mountains will drip grape juice, And all the hills will come apart.
Amos 9:14 - I will also restore the fortunes of My people Israel, And they will rebuild the desolated cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, And make gardens and eat their fruit.
Jeremiah 32:15 - For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Houses and fields and vineyards will again be purchased in this land.” ’
Ezekiel 38:8 - After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual place of ruins; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them.
Ezekiel 28:22 - and say, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “Behold, I am against you, Sidon, And I will appear in My glory in your midst. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I execute judgments against her, And I will reveal Myself as holy in her.
Ezekiel 28:24 - And there will no longer be for the house of Israel a painful thorn or a hurtful thorn bush from any surrounding them who despised them; then they will know that I am the Lord God.”
