  • Ezekiel 8:12 - He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his idol? For they are saying, ‘The Lord does not see us. The Lord has abandoned the land.’”
  • Ezekiel 21:17 - I also will clap my hands together, and I will satisfy my wrath. I, the Lord, have spoken.”

  • 2 Kings 24:14 - He deported all Jerusalem and all the commanders and all the best soldiers  — ten thousand captives including all the craftsmen and metalsmiths. Except for the poorest people of the land, no one remained.
  • 2 Kings 24:15 - Nebuchadnezzar deported Jehoiachin to Babylon. He took the king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officials, and the leading men of the land into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
  • 2 Kings 24:16 - The king of Babylon brought captive into Babylon all seven thousand of the best soldiers and one thousand craftsmen and metalsmiths — all strong and fit for war.
  • Leviticus 26:21 - “If you act with hostility toward me and are unwilling to obey me, I will multiply your plagues seven times for your sins.
  • Ezekiel 6:11 - “This is what the Lord God says: Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and cry out over all the evil and detestable practices of the house of Israel, who will fall by the sword, famine, and plague.
  • Leviticus 26:24 - then I will act with hostility toward you; I also will strike you seven times for your sins.
  • Numbers 24:10 - Then Balak became furious with Balaam, struck his hands together, and said to him, “I summoned you to put a curse on my enemies, but instead, you have blessed them these three times.
  • 2 Kings 24:1 - During Jehoiakim’s reign, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon attacked. Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years, and then he turned and rebelled against him.
