Micah 1:5 - All this is because of Jacob’s rebellion and the sins of the nation of Israel. How has Jacob rebelled, you ask? Samaria epitomizes their rebellion! Where are Judah’s pagan worship centers, you ask? They are right in Jerusalem!
Genesis 18:20 - So the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so blatant
Genesis 18:21 - that I must go down and see if they are as wicked as the outcry suggests. If not, I want to know.”
Genesis 18:22 - The two men turned and headed toward Sodom, but Abraham was still standing before the Lord.
Genesis 18:23 - Abraham approached and said, “Will you sweep away the godly along with the wicked?
Genesis 18:24 - What if there are fifty godly people in the city? Will you really wipe it out and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty godly people who are in it?
Genesis 18:25 - Far be it from you to do such a thing – to kill the godly with the wicked, treating the godly and the wicked alike! Far be it from you! Will not the judge of the whole earth do what is right?”
Genesis 18:26 - So the Lord replied, “If I find in the city of Sodom fifty godly people, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
Genesis 18:27 - Then Abraham asked, “Since I have undertaken to speak to the Lord (although I am but dust and ashes),
Genesis 18:28 - what if there are five less than the fifty godly people? Will you destroy the whole city because five are lacking?” He replied, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”
Genesis 18:29 - Abraham spoke to him again, “What if forty are found there?” He replied, “I will not do it for the sake of the forty.”
Genesis 18:30 - Then Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak! What if thirty are found there?” He replied, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
Genesis 18:31 - Abraham said, “Since I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty are found there?” He replied, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the twenty.”
Genesis 18:32 - Finally Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He replied, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”
Genesis 18:33 - The Lord went on his way when he had finished speaking to Abraham. Then Abraham returned home.
Revelation 11:8 - Their corpses will lie in the street of the great city that is symbolically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was also crucified.
Ezekiel 16:27 - So see here, I have stretched out my hand against you and cut off your rations. I have delivered you into the power of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed by your obscene conduct.

Luke 17:28 - Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot, people were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building;
Luke 17:29 - but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:30 - It will be the same on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
Ezekiel 23:11 - “Her sister Oholibah watched this, but she became more corrupt in her lust than her sister had been, and her acts of prostitution were more numerous than those of her sister.

Ezekiel 23:33 - You will be overcome by drunkenness and sorrow. The cup of your sister Samaria is a cup of horror and desolation.
Genesis 19:24 - Then the Lord rained down sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah. It was sent down from the sky by the Lord.
Genesis 19:25 - So he overthrew those cities and all that region, including all the inhabitants of the cities and the vegetation that grew from the ground.
Isaiah 1:9 - If the Lord who commands armies had not left us a few survivors, we would have quickly become like Sodom, we would have become like Gomorrah.
Isaiah 1:10 - Listen to the Lord’s word, you leaders of Sodom! Pay attention to our God’s rebuke, people of Gomorrah!
Hosea 11:8 - How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I surrender you, O Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? I have had a change of heart! All my tender compassions are aroused!
Ezekiel 26:6 - and her daughters who are in the field will be slaughtered by the sword. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
Jeremiah 23:14 - But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking. They are unfaithful to me and continually prophesy lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.
Ezekiel 16:61 - Then you will remember your conduct, and be ashamed when you receive your older and younger sisters. I will give them to you as daughters, but not on account of my covenant with you.
Jeremiah 3:8 - She also saw that I gave wayward Israel her divorce papers and sent her away because of her adulterous worship of other gods. Even after her unfaithful sister Judah had seen this, she still was not afraid, and she too went and gave herself like a prostitute to other gods.
Jeremiah 3:9 - Because she took her prostitution so lightly, she defiled the land through her adulterous worship of gods made of wood and stone.
Jeremiah 3:10 - In spite of all this, Israel’s sister, unfaithful Judah, has not turned back to me with any sincerity; she has only pretended to do so,” says the Lord.
Jeremiah 3:11 - Then the Lord said to me, “Under the circumstances, wayward Israel could even be considered less guilty than unfaithful Judah.
Ezekiel 16:53 - “‘I will restore their fortunes, the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters, and the fortunes of Samaria and her daughters (along with your fortunes among them),
Ezekiel 16:54 - so that you may bear your disgrace and be ashamed of all you have done in consoling them.
Ezekiel 16:55 - As for your sisters, Sodom and her daughters will be restored to their former status, Samaria and her daughters will be restored to their former status, and you and your daughters will be restored to your former status.
Ezekiel 16:56 - In your days of majesty, was not Sodom your sister a byword in your mouth,
Ezekiel 16:48 - As surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, your sister Sodom and her daughters never behaved as wickedly as you and your daughters have behaved.
Ezekiel 16:49 - “‘See here – this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters had majesty, abundance of food, and enjoyed carefree ease, but they did not help the poor and needy.
Genesis 13:10 - Lot looked up and saw the whole region of the Jordan. He noticed that all of it was well-watered (before the Lord obliterated Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, all the way to Zoar.
Genesis 13:11 - Lot chose for himself the whole region of the Jordan and traveled toward the east. So the relatives separated from each other.
Genesis 13:12 - Abram settled in the land of Canaan, but Lot settled among the cities of the Jordan plain and pitched his tents next to Sodom.
Genesis 13:13 - (Now the people of Sodom were extremely wicked rebels against the Lord.)
Ezekiel 16:51 - Samaria has not committed half the sins you have; you have done more abominable deeds than they did. You have made your sisters appear righteous with all the abominable things you have done.
Ezekiel 23:4 - Oholah was the name of the older and Oholibah the name of her younger sister. They became mine, and gave birth to sons and daughters. Oholah is Samaria and Oholibah is Jerusalem.
