  • Exodus 39:1 - Now from the violet, purple, and scarlet material they made finely woven garments for ministering in the Holy Place, as well as the holy garments which were for Aaron, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

  • Exodus 39:40 - the hangings for the courtyard, its pillars and its bases, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard, its ropes and its pegs, and all the equipment for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
  • Exodus 39:41 - the woven garments for ministering in the Holy Place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests.
  • Exodus 39:42 - So the sons of Israel did all the work according to everything that the Lord had commanded Moses.
  • Exodus 39:43 - And Moses examined all the work, and behold, they had done it; just as the Lord had commanded, this they had done. So Moses blessed them.
  • Exodus 28:1 - “Then bring forward to yourself your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, to serve as priest to Me—Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

  • Exodus 28:4 - And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a tunic of checkered work, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so that he may serve as priest to Me.
  • Exodus 28:5 - They shall take the gold, the violet, the purple, the scarlet material, and the fine linen.
  • Exodus 28:6 - “They shall also make the ephod of gold, of violet, purple, and scarlet material, and fine twisted linen, the work of the skilled embroiderer.
  • Exodus 28:7 - It shall have two shoulder pieces joined to its two ends, so that it may be joined.
  • Exodus 28:8 - The skillfully woven band of its overlay, which is on it, shall be like its workmanship, of the same material: of gold, of violet and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen.

  • Exodus 28:15 - “You shall make a breastpiece of judgment, the work of a skilled embroiderer; like the work of the ephod you shall make it: of gold, of violet, purple, and scarlet material, and fine twisted linen you shall make it.

  • Exodus 28:27 - And you shall make two rings of gold and put them on the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on the front of it close to the place where it is joined, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
  • Exodus 28:28 - And they shall bind the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a violet cord, so that it will be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece will not come loose from the ephod.
  • Exodus 28:29 - So Aaron shall carry the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece of judgment over his heart when he enters the Holy Place, as a memorial before the Lord continually.
  • Exodus 28:30 - And you shall put in the breastpiece of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron’s heart when he goes in before the Lord; and Aaron shall carry the judgment of the sons of Israel over his heart before the Lord continually.
  • Exodus 28:31 - “You shall make the robe of the ephod all of violet.
  • Exodus 28:32 - There shall be an opening at its top in the middle of it; around its opening there shall be a binding of woven work, like the opening of a coat of mail, so that it will not be torn.
  • Exodus 28:33 - You shall make on its hem pomegranates of violet, purple, and scarlet material all around on its hem, and bells of gold between them all around:
  • Exodus 28:34 - a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, all around on the hem of the robe.
  • Exodus 28:35 - It shall be on Aaron when he ministers; and its sound shall be heard when he enters and leaves the Holy Place before the Lord, so that he will not die.
  • Exodus 28:36 - “You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, ‘Holy to the Lord.’
  • Exodus 28:37 - You shall fasten it on a violet cord, and it shall be on the turban; it shall be at the front of the turban.
  • Exodus 28:38 - It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall take away the guilt of the holy things which the sons of Israel consecrate, regarding all their holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, so that they may be accepted before the Lord.
  • Exodus 28:39 - “And you shall weave the tunic of checkered work of fine linen, and shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash, the work of a weaver.
  • Exodus 28:40 - “For Aaron’s sons you shall also make tunics; you shall also make sashes for them, and you shall make caps for them, for glory and for beauty.
  • Exodus 28:41 - Then you shall put them on Aaron your brother and on his sons with him; and you shall anoint them and ordain them and consecrate them, so that they may serve Me as priests.
  • Exodus 28:42 - You shall make for them linen undergarments to cover their bare flesh; they shall reach from the waist even to the thighs.
  • Exodus 28:43 - And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they do not incur guilt and die. It shall be a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.
  • Numbers 4:5 - “When the camp sets out, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down the veil of the curtain, and cover the ark of the testimony with it;
  • Numbers 4:6 - and they shall place a covering of fine leather on it, and spread over it a cloth of pure violet, and insert its carrying poles.
  • Numbers 4:7 - Over the table of the bread of the Presence they shall also spread a cloth of violet and put on it the dishes, the pans, the sacrificial bowls, and the jugs for the drink offering; and the continual bread shall be on it.
  • Numbers 4:8 - And they shall spread over them a cloth of scarlet material, and cover the same with a covering of fine leather, and they shall insert its carrying poles.
  • Numbers 4:9 - Then they shall take a violet cloth and cover the lampstand for the light, along with its lamps, its tongs, its trays, and all its oil containers, by which they attend to it;
  • Numbers 4:10 - and they shall put it and all its utensils in a covering of fine leather, and put it on the carrying bars.
  • Numbers 4:11 - Over the golden altar they shall spread a violet cloth, and cover it with a covering of fine leather, and they shall insert its carrying poles;
  • Numbers 4:12 - and they shall take all the utensils of service, with which they serve in the sanctuary, and put them in a violet cloth and cover them with a covering of fine leather, and put them on the carrying bars.
  • Numbers 4:13 - Then they shall clean away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth over it.
  • Numbers 4:14 - They shall also put on it all its utensils by which they serve in connection with it: the firepans, the forks, shovels, and the basins, all the utensils of the altar; and they shall spread a cover of fine leather over it and insert its carrying poles.
  • Leviticus 8:13 - Next Moses had Aaron’s sons come near, and he clothed them with tunics and wrapped their waists with sashes, and bound caps on them, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
  • Leviticus 8:7 - Then he put the tunic on Aaron and wrapped his waist with the sash, and clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him; and he wrapped his waist with the artistic band of the ephod, with which he fitted it to him.
  • Leviticus 8:8 - He then placed the breastpiece on him, and in the breastpiece he put the Urim and the Thummim.
