  • Exodus 28:32 - It shall have an opening for the head in the middle of it, with a woven binding around the opening, like the opening in a garment, so that it may not tear.

  • Exodus 28:43 - and they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they go into the tent of meeting or when they come near the altar to minister in the Holy Place, lest they bear guilt and die. This shall be a statute forever for him and for his offspring after him.

  • Exodus 39:1 - From the blue and purple and scarlet yarns they made finely woven garments, for ministering in the Holy Place. They made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

  • Exodus 39:42 - According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work.

  • Exodus 28:29 - So Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece of judgment on his heart, when he goes into the Holy Place, to bring them to regular remembrance before the Lord.
  • Exodus 28:30 - And in the breastpiece of judgment you shall put the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before the Lord. Thus Aaron shall bear the judgment of the people of Israel on his heart before the Lord regularly.
  • Exodus 28:31 - “You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
  • Exodus 28:32 - It shall have an opening for the head in the middle of it, with a woven binding around the opening, like the opening in a garment, so that it may not tear.
  • Exodus 28:33 - On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet yarns, around its hem, with bells of gold between them,
  • Exodus 28:34 - a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.

  • Exodus 28:38 - It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear any guilt from the holy things that the people of Israel consecrate as their holy gifts. It shall regularly be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.
  • Exodus 28:39 - “You shall weave the coat in checker work of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash embroidered with needlework.
  • Exodus 28:40 - “For Aaron’s sons you shall make coats and sashes and caps. You shall make them for glory and beauty.
  • Exodus 28:41 - And you shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them and ordain them and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.
  • Exodus 28:42 - You shall make for them linen undergarments to cover their naked flesh. They shall reach from the hips to the thighs;
  • Exodus 28:43 - and they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they go into the tent of meeting or when they come near the altar to minister in the Holy Place, lest they bear guilt and die. This shall be a statute forever for him and for his offspring after him.
  • Numbers 4:5 - When the camp is to set out, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down the veil of the screen and cover the ark of the testimony with it.
  • Numbers 4:6 - Then they shall put on it a covering of goatskin and spread on top of that a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its poles.
  • Numbers 4:7 - And over the table of the bread of the Presence they shall spread a cloth of blue and put on it the plates, the dishes for incense, the bowls, and the flagons for the drink offering; the regular showbread also shall be on it.
  • Numbers 4:8 - Then they shall spread over them a cloth of scarlet and cover the same with a covering of goatskin, and shall put in its poles.
  • Numbers 4:9 - And they shall take a cloth of blue and cover the lampstand for the light, with its lamps, its tongs, its trays, and all the vessels for oil with which it is supplied.
  • Numbers 4:10 - And they shall put it with all its utensils in a covering of goatskin and put it on the carrying frame.
  • Numbers 4:11 - And over the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue and cover it with a covering of goatskin, and shall put in its poles.
  • Numbers 4:12 - And they shall take all the vessels of the service that are used in the sanctuary and put them in a cloth of blue and cover them with a covering of goatskin and put them on the carrying frame.
  • Numbers 4:13 - And they shall take away the ashes from the altar and spread a purple cloth over it.
  • Numbers 4:14 - And they shall put on it all the utensils of the altar, which are used for the service there, the fire pans, the forks, the shovels, and the basins, all the utensils of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of goatskin, and shall put in its poles.
  • Leviticus 8:13 - And Moses brought Aaron’s sons and clothed them with coats and tied sashes around their waists and bound caps on them, as the Lord commanded Moses.
  • Leviticus 8:7 - And he put the coat on him and tied the sash around his waist and clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him and tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod around him, binding it to him with the band.
  • Leviticus 8:8 - And he placed the breastpiece on him, and in the breastpiece he put the Urim and the Thummim.
