Hebräer 1:3 - In dem Sohn zeigt sich die göttliche Herrlichkeit seines Vaters, denn er ist ganz und gar Gottes Ebenbild. Sein Wort ist die Kraft, die das Weltall zusammenhält. Durch seinen Tod hat er uns von unserer Schuld befreit und nun den Ehrenplatz im Himmel eingenommen, an der rechten Seite Gottes, dem alle Macht gehört.
3. Mose 16:29 - Dies alles soll am 10. Tag des 7. Monats geschehen. Zusätzlich gelten für diesen Tag noch folgende Ordnungen, die ihr stets einhalten müsst: Ihr sollt fasten und euch vor mir beugen. Ihr dürft keinerlei Arbeit verrichten, weder ihr noch die Ausländer, die bei euch wohnen.
3. Mose 16:30 - Denn an diesem Tag werdet ihr mit mir, dem Herrn, versöhnt und von aller Schuld befreit, die auf euch lastet.
Hebräer 9:25 - Christus brauchte sich nur ein einziges Mal zu opfern. Der Hohepriester dagegen muss jedes Jahr aufs Neue ins Allerheiligste gehen und Gott das Blut eines Tieres darbringen.
Hebräer 9:22 - Nach den Bestimmungen des alten Bundes wird fast alles mit Blut gereinigt. Denn ohne Blut ist eine Vergebung der Schuld nicht möglich.
Hebräer 9:23 - Deshalb musste das heilige Zelt, das als Abbild des himmlischen Heiligtums hier auf der Erde stand, durch das Blut von Tieren gereinigt werden. Als es aber um das himmlische Heiligtum ging, war ein besseres Opfer nötig.
Hebräer 9:7 - Den anderen Raum, das Allerheiligste, darf aber nur der Hohepriester betreten, und das auch nur an einem einzigen Tag im Jahr. Hier bringt er das Blut eines Tieres als Opfer dar, damit Gott ihm seine eigene Schuld und auch die Sünden seines Volkes vergibt.
3. Mose 23:27 - »Der 10. Tag des 7. Monats ist der Tag der Versöhnung. Dann sollt ihr fasten und euch vor mir beugen. Zu meiner Ehre sollt ihr euch versammeln und eure Opfer auf dem Altar verbrennen.
3. Mose 16:18 - Anschließend verlässt Aaron das Allerheiligste, geht zum Altar des Heiligtums und befreit ihn von aller Schuld, die auf ihm lastet. Dazu streicht er etwas vom Blut des jungen Stieres und des Ziegenbocks an die Hörner des Altars.
