Acts 15:38 - but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work.
Exodus 16:2 - In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron.
Exodus 16:3 - The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by the Lord’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.”
Luke 14:27 - And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

Luke 14:32 - If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace.
1 Kings 8:47 - and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors and say, ‘We have sinned, we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly’;
Numbers 14:1 - That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud.
Numbers 14:2 - All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness!
Numbers 14:3 - Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?”
Numbers 14:4 - And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”
Nehemiah 9:17 - They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them,
Exodus 14:11 - They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
Exodus 14:12 - Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”
