  • 2 Corinthians 4:6 - For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
  • John 5:25 - “And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.
  • John 5:26 - The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son.
  • John 5:27 - And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.
  • John 5:28 - Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God’s Son,
  • John 5:29 - and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment.
  • Isaiah 52:1 - Wake up, wake up, O Zion! Clothe yourself with strength. Put on your beautiful clothes, O holy city of Jerusalem, for unclean and godless people will enter your gates no longer.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:6 - So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.
  • Romans 13:11 - This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
  • Romans 13:12 - The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living.
  • Isaiah 26:19 - But those who die in the Lord will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead!
  • Isaiah 60:1 - “Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.
