Jeremiah 7:23 - But this thing I did command them: ‘Listen to and obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, so that it may be well with you.’

Isaiah 1:14 - I hate [the hypocrisy of] your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts. They have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them.
Isaiah 1:15 - So when you spread out your hands [in prayer, pleading for My help], I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you offer many prayers, I will not be listening. Your hands are full of blood!
Isaiah 1:16 - “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Get your evil deeds out of My sight. Stop doing evil,
Isaiah 1:17 - Learn to do good. Seek justice, Rebuke the ruthless, Defend the fatherless, Plead for the [rights of the] widow [in court].
Isaiah 1:18 - “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord. “ Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.
Isaiah 1:19 - If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the best of the land;
Isaiah 1:20 - But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Hebrews 10:26 - For if we go on willfully and deliberately sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice [to atone] for our sins [that is, no further offering to anticipate],

Proverbs 21:27 - The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable and offensive [to the Lord]. How much more [unacceptable and insulting can it be] when he brings it with evil intention?
Psalms 89:7 - A God greatly feared and reverently worshiped in the council of the holy [angelic] ones, And awesome above all those who are around Him?
1 Peter 2:1 - So put aside every trace of malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander and hateful speech;
1 Peter 2:2 - like newborn babies [you should] long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may be nurtured and grow in respect to salvation [its ultimate fulfillment],
Proverbs 15:8 - The sacrifice of the wicked is hateful and exceedingly offensive to the Lord, But the prayer of the upright is His delight!
Hebrews 12:28 - Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, and offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship with reverence and awe;
Hebrews 12:29 - for our God is [indeed] a consuming fire.
