  • Leviticus 11:3 - Whatever parts the hoof and is cloven-footed and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat.

  • Deuteronomy 16:8 - For six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to the Lord your God. You shall do no work on it.
  • Deuteronomy 16:9 - “You shall count seven weeks. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time the sickle is first put to the standing grain.
  • Deuteronomy 16:10 - Then you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give as the Lord your God blesses you.
  • Deuteronomy 16:11 - And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your towns, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, at the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell there.
  • Deuteronomy 16:12 - You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall be careful to observe these statutes.
  • Deuteronomy 16:13 - “You shall keep the Feast of Booths seven days, when you have gathered in the produce from your threshing floor and your winepress.
  • Deuteronomy 16:14 - You shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns.
  • Deuteronomy 16:15 - For seven days you shall keep the feast to the Lord your God at the place that the Lord will choose, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful.
  • Deuteronomy 16:16 - “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Booths. They shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed.
  • Deuteronomy 16:17 - Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God that he has given you.
  • 1 Corinthians 8:7 - However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, through former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
  • 1 Corinthians 8:8 - Food will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do.
  • 1 Corinthians 8:9 - But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.
  • 1 Corinthians 8:10 - For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol’s temple, will he not be encouraged, if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols?
  • 1 Corinthians 8:11 - And so by your knowledge this weak person is destroyed, the brother for whom Christ died.
  • 1 Corinthians 8:12 - Thus, sinning against your brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
  • 1 Corinthians 8:13 - Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.
  • Ezekiel 4:14 - Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself. From my youth up till now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has tainted meat come into my mouth.”
  • Numbers 10:10 - On the day of your gladness also, and at your appointed feasts and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings. They shall be a reminder of you before your God: I am the Lord your God.”
  • Leviticus 17:10 - “If any one of the house of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.
  • Leviticus 17:11 - For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.
  • Leviticus 17:12 - Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.
  • Leviticus 17:13 - “Any one also of the people of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, who takes in hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth.
  • Leviticus 17:14 - For the life of every creature is its blood: its blood is its life. Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.
  • Leviticus 17:15 - And every person who eats what dies of itself or what is torn by beasts, whether he is a native or a sojourner, shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean.
  • Psalms 81:3 - Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.
  • Deuteronomy 14:3 - “You shall not eat any abomination.
  • Deuteronomy 14:4 - These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,
  • Deuteronomy 14:5 - the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope, and the mountain sheep.
  • Deuteronomy 14:6 - Every animal that parts the hoof and has the hoof cloven in two and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat.
  • Deuteronomy 14:7 - Yet of those that chew the cud or have the hoof cloven you shall not eat these: the camel, the hare, and the rock badger, because they chew the cud but do not part the hoof, are unclean for you.
  • Deuteronomy 14:8 - And the pig, because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud, is unclean for you. Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch.
  • Deuteronomy 14:9 - “Of all that are in the waters you may eat these: whatever has fins and scales you may eat.
  • Deuteronomy 14:10 - And whatever does not have fins and scales you shall not eat; it is unclean for you.
  • Deuteronomy 14:11 - “You may eat all clean birds.
  • Deuteronomy 14:12 - But these are the ones that you shall not eat: the eagle, the bearded vulture, the black vulture,
  • Deuteronomy 14:13 - the kite, the falcon of any kind;
  • Deuteronomy 14:14 - every raven of any kind;
  • Deuteronomy 14:15 - the ostrich, the nighthawk, the sea gull, the hawk of any kind;
  • Deuteronomy 14:16 - the little owl and the short-eared owl, the barn owl
  • Deuteronomy 14:17 - and the tawny owl, the carrion vulture and the cormorant,
  • Deuteronomy 14:18 - the stork, the heron of any kind; the hoopoe and the bat.
  • Deuteronomy 14:19 - And all winged insects are unclean for you; they shall not be eaten.
  • Deuteronomy 14:20 - All clean winged things you may eat.
  • Deuteronomy 14:21 - “You shall not eat anything that has died naturally. You may give it to the sojourner who is within your towns, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. “You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.
  • 1 Samuel 20:5 - David said to Jonathan, “Behold, tomorrow is the new moon, and I should not fail to sit at table with the king. But let me go, that I may hide myself in the field till the third day at evening.
  • 2 Kings 4:23 - And he said, “Why will you go to him today? It is neither new moon nor Sabbath.” She said, “All is well.”
  • Psalms 42:4 - These things I remember, as I pour out my soul: how I would go with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise, a multitude keeping festival.
  • Leviticus 23:1 - The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Leviticus 23:2 - “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, These are the appointed feasts of the Lord that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are my appointed feasts.
  • Leviticus 23:3 - “Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.
  • Leviticus 23:4 - “These are the appointed feasts of the Lord, the holy convocations, which you shall proclaim at the time appointed for them.
  • Leviticus 23:5 - In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight, is the Lord’s Passover.
  • Leviticus 23:6 - And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.
  • Leviticus 23:7 - On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work.
  • Leviticus 23:8 - But you shall present a food offering to the Lord for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work.”
  • Leviticus 23:9 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Leviticus 23:10 - “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest,
  • Leviticus 23:11 - and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
  • Leviticus 23:12 - And on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:13 - And the grain offering with it shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering to the Lord with a pleasing aroma, and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, a fourth of a hin.
  • Leviticus 23:14 - And you shall eat neither bread nor grain parched or fresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
  • Leviticus 23:15 - “You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering.
  • Leviticus 23:16 - You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath. Then you shall present a grain offering of new grain to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:17 - You shall bring from your dwelling places two loaves of bread to be waved, made of two tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour, and they shall be baked with leaven, as firstfruits to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:18 - And you shall present with the bread seven lambs a year old without blemish, and one bull from the herd and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:19 - And you shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old as a sacrifice of peace offerings.
  • Leviticus 23:20 - And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.
  • Leviticus 23:21 - And you shall make a proclamation on the same day. You shall hold a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work. It is a statute forever in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.
  • Leviticus 23:22 - “And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.”
  • Leviticus 23:23 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Leviticus 23:24 - “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with blast of trumpets, a holy convocation.
  • Leviticus 23:25 - You shall not do any ordinary work, and you shall present a food offering to the Lord.”
  • Leviticus 23:26 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Leviticus 23:27 - “Now on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be for you a time of holy convocation, and you shall afflict yourselves and present a food offering to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:28 - And you shall not do any work on that very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.
  • Leviticus 23:29 - For whoever is not afflicted on that very day shall be cut off from his people.
  • Leviticus 23:30 - And whoever does any work on that very day, that person I will destroy from among his people.
  • Leviticus 23:31 - You shall not do any work. It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
  • Leviticus 23:32 - It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.”
  • Leviticus 23:33 - And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Leviticus 23:34 - “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month and for seven days is the Feast of Booths to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:35 - On the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work.
  • Leviticus 23:36 - For seven days you shall present food offerings to the Lord. On the eighth day you shall hold a holy convocation and present a food offering to the Lord. It is a solemn assembly; you shall not do any ordinary work.
  • Leviticus 23:37 - “These are the appointed feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim as times of holy convocation, for presenting to the Lord food offerings, burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its proper day,
  • Leviticus 23:38 - besides the Lord’s Sabbaths and besides your gifts and besides all your vow offerings and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:39 - “On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord seven days. On the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
  • Leviticus 23:40 - And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
  • Leviticus 23:41 - You shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
  • Leviticus 23:42 - You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All native Israelites shall dwell in booths,
  • Leviticus 23:43 - that your generations may know that I made the people of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”
  • Leviticus 23:44 - Thus Moses declared to the people of Israel the appointed feasts of the Lord.
  • Acts 11:3 - “You went to uncircumcised men and ate with them.”
  • Acts 11:4 - But Peter began and explained it to them in order:
  • Acts 11:5 - “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, something like a great sheet descending, being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to me.
  • Acts 11:6 - Looking at it closely, I observed animals and beasts of prey and reptiles and birds of the air.
  • Acts 11:7 - And I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter; kill and eat.’
  • Acts 11:8 - But I said, ‘By no means, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
  • Acts 11:9 - But the voice answered a second time from heaven, ‘What God has made clean, do not call common.’
  • Acts 11:10 - This happened three times, and all was drawn up again into heaven.
  • Acts 11:11 - And behold, at that very moment three men arrived at the house in which we were, sent to me from Caesarea.
  • Acts 11:12 - And the Spirit told me to go with them, making no distinction. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered the man’s house.
  • Acts 11:13 - And he told us how he had seen the angel stand in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa and bring Simon who is called Peter;
  • Acts 11:14 - he will declare to you a message by which you will be saved, you and all your household.’
  • Acts 11:15 - As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.
  • Acts 11:16 - And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
  • Acts 11:17 - If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”
  • Acts 11:18 - When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
  • Leviticus 11:2 - “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, These are the living things that you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.
  • Leviticus 11:3 - Whatever parts the hoof and is cloven-footed and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat.

  • Leviticus 11:13 - “And these you shall detest among the birds; they shall not be eaten; they are detestable: the eagle, the bearded vulture, the black vulture,

  • Leviticus 11:23 - But all other winged insects that have four feet are detestable to you.
  • Leviticus 11:24 - “And by these you shall become unclean. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening,
  • Leviticus 11:25 - and whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.
  • Leviticus 11:26 - Every animal that parts the hoof but is not cloven-footed or does not chew the cud is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean.
  • Leviticus 11:27 - And all that walk on their paws, among the animals that go on all fours, are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening,
  • Leviticus 11:28 - and he who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you.
  • Leviticus 11:29 - “And these are unclean to you among the swarming things that swarm on the ground: the mole rat, the mouse, the great lizard of any kind,
  • Leviticus 11:30 - the gecko, the monitor lizard, the lizard, the sand lizard, and the chameleon.
  • Leviticus 11:31 - These are unclean to you among all that swarm. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening.
  • Leviticus 11:32 - And anything on which any of them falls when they are dead shall be unclean, whether it is an article of wood or a garment or a skin or a sack, any article that is used for any purpose. It must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; then it shall be clean.
  • Leviticus 11:33 - And if any of them falls into any earthenware vessel, all that is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it.
  • Leviticus 11:34 - Any food in it that could be eaten, on which water comes, shall be unclean. And all drink that could be drunk from every such vessel shall be unclean.
  • Leviticus 11:35 - And everything on which any part of their carcass falls shall be unclean. Whether oven or stove, it shall be broken in pieces. They are unclean and shall remain unclean for you.
  • Leviticus 11:36 - Nevertheless, a spring or a cistern holding water shall be clean, but whoever touches a carcass in them shall be unclean.
  • Leviticus 11:37 - And if any part of their carcass falls upon any seed grain that is to be sown, it is clean,
  • Leviticus 11:38 - but if water is put on the seed and any part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.
  • Leviticus 11:39 - “And if any animal which you may eat dies, whoever touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening,
  • Leviticus 11:40 - and whoever eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. And whoever carries the carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.
  • Leviticus 11:41 - “Every swarming thing that swarms on the ground is detestable; it shall not be eaten.
  • Leviticus 11:42 - Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, any swarming thing that swarms on the ground, you shall not eat, for they are detestable.
  • Leviticus 11:43 - You shall not make yourselves detestable with any swarming thing that swarms, and you shall not defile yourselves with them, and become unclean through them.
  • Leviticus 11:44 - For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground.
  • Leviticus 11:45 - For I am the Lord who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”
  • Leviticus 11:46 - This is the law about beast and bird and every living creature that moves through the waters and every creature that swarms on the ground,
  • Leviticus 11:47 - to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean and between the living creature that may be eaten and the living creature that may not be eaten.
  • Nehemiah 10:31 - And if the peoples of the land bring in goods or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, we will not buy from them on the Sabbath or on a holy day. And we will forego the crops of the seventh year and the exaction of every debt.
  • Isaiah 1:13 - Bring no more vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath and the calling of convocations— I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly.
  • 1 Samuel 20:18 - Then Jonathan said to him, “Tomorrow is the new moon, and you will be missed, because your seat will be empty.
  • Amos 8:5 - saying, “When will the new moon be over, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may offer wheat for sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great and deal deceitfully with false balances,
  • Ezekiel 46:1 - “Thus says the Lord God: The gate of the inner court that faces east shall be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day it shall be opened, and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
  • Ezekiel 46:2 - The prince shall enter by the vestibule of the gate from outside, and shall take his stand by the post of the gate. The priests shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening.
  • Ezekiel 46:3 - The people of the land shall bow down at the entrance of that gate before the Lord on the Sabbaths and on the new moons.
  • Leviticus 16:31 - It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; it is a statute forever.
  • 1 Corinthians 10:28 - But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience—
  • 1 Corinthians 10:29 - I do not mean your conscience, but his. For why should my liberty be determined by someone else’s conscience?
  • 1 Corinthians 10:30 - If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that for which I give thanks?
  • 1 Corinthians 10:31 - So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
  • Galatians 2:12 - For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party.
  • Galatians 2:13 - And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.
  • Hebrews 9:10 - but deal only with food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.
  • Numbers 28:1 - The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Numbers 28:2 - “Command the people of Israel and say to them, ‘My offering, my food for my food offerings, my pleasing aroma, you shall be careful to offer to me at its appointed time.’
  • Numbers 28:3 - And you shall say to them, This is the food offering that you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without blemish, day by day, as a regular offering.
  • Numbers 28:4 - The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight;
  • Numbers 28:5 - also a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with a quarter of a hin of beaten oil.
  • Numbers 28:6 - It is a regular burnt offering, which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord.
  • Numbers 28:7 - Its drink offering shall be a quarter of a hin for each lamb. In the Holy Place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord.
  • Numbers 28:8 - The other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Like the grain offering of the morning, and like its drink offering, you shall offer it as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
  • Numbers 28:9 - “On the Sabbath day, two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering:
  • Numbers 28:10 - this is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 28:11 - “At the beginnings of your months, you shall offer a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
  • Numbers 28:12 - also three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for each bull, and two tenths of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram;
  • Numbers 28:13 - and a tenth of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for every lamb; for a burnt offering with a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord.
  • Numbers 28:14 - Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a quarter of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.
  • Numbers 28:15 - Also one male goat for a sin offering to the Lord; it shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 28:16 - “On the fourteenth day of the first month is the Lord’s Passover,
  • Numbers 28:17 - and on the fifteenth day of this month is a feast. Seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.
  • Numbers 28:18 - On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work,
  • Numbers 28:19 - but offer a food offering, a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls from the herd, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old; see that they are without blemish;
  • Numbers 28:20 - also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; three tenths of an ephah shall you offer for a bull, and two tenths for a ram;

  • Numbers 28:23 - You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a regular burnt offering.
  • Numbers 28:24 - In the same way you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. It shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 28:25 - And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work.
  • Numbers 28:26 - “On the day of the firstfruits, when you offer a grain offering of new grain to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work,
  • Numbers 28:27 - but offer a burnt offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old;
  • Numbers 28:28 - also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah for each bull, two tenths for one ram,
  • Numbers 28:29 - a tenth for each of the seven lambs;

  • Nehemiah 10:33 - for the showbread, the regular grain offering, the regular burnt offering, the Sabbaths, the new moons, the appointed feasts, the holy things, and the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.
  • Hebrews 13:9 - Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.
  • Matthew 15:11 - it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”
  • Romans 14:2 - One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables.
  • Romans 14:3 - Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.
  • Ezekiel 45:17 - It shall be the prince’s duty to furnish the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the new moons, and the Sabbaths, all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement on behalf of the house of Israel.
  • Galatians 4:10 - You observe days and months and seasons and years!
  • 1 Chronicles 23:31 - and whenever burnt offerings were offered to the Lord on Sabbaths, new moons, and feast days, according to the number required of them, regularly before the Lord.

  • Romans 14:6 - The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.
