Daniel 9:26 - “After this period of sixty-two sets of seven, the Anointed One will be killed, appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end.
Habakkuk 3:5 - Pestilence marches before him; plague follows close behind.
Habakkuk 3:6 - When he stops, the earth shakes. When he looks, the nations tremble. He shatters the everlasting mountains and levels the eternal hills. He is the Eternal One!
Habakkuk 3:7 - I see the people of Cushan in distress, and the nation of Midian trembling in terror.
Habakkuk 3:8 - Was it in anger, Lord, that you struck the rivers and parted the sea? Were you displeased with them? No, you were sending your chariots of salvation!
Isaiah 5:25 - That is why the Lord’s anger burns against his people, and why he has raised his fist to crush them. The mountains tremble, and the corpses of his people litter the streets like garbage. But even then the Lord’s anger is not satisfied. His fist is still poised to strike!
Psalms 18:7 - Then the earth quaked and trembled. The foundations of the mountains shook; they quaked because of his anger.
Jeremiah 46:8 - It is the Egyptian army, overflowing all the land, boasting that it will cover the earth like a flood, destroying cities and their people.
Hosea 4:3 - That is why your land is in mourning, and everyone is wasting away. Even the wild animals, the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea are disappearing.
Amos 9:5 - The Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, touches the land and it melts, and all its people mourn. The ground rises like the Nile River at floodtime, and then it sinks again.
