  • Genesis 16:7 - The Lord’s angel found Hagar near a spring of water in the desert – the spring that is along the road to Shur.
  • Genesis 16:8 - He said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?” She replied, “I’m running away from my mistress, Sarai.”
  • Genesis 16:9 - Then the Lord’s angel said to her, “Return to your mistress and submit to her authority.
  • Genesis 16:10 - I will greatly multiply your descendants,” the Lord’s angel added, “so that they will be too numerous to count.”
  • Genesis 16:11 - Then the Lord’s angel said to her, “You are now pregnant and are about to give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard your painful groans.
  • Genesis 16:12 - He will be a wild donkey of a man. He will be hostile to everyone, and everyone will be hostile to him. He will live away from his brothers.”
  • Genesis 16:13 - So Hagar named the Lord who spoke to her, “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “Here I have seen one who sees me!”
  • Genesis 22:15 - The Lord’s angel called to Abraham a second time from heaven
  • Genesis 22:16 - and said, “‘I solemnly swear by my own name,’ decrees the Lord, ‘that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,

  • Genesis 22:18 - Because you have obeyed me, all the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.’”
  • Daniel 3:27 - Once the satraps, prefects, governors, and ministers of the king had gathered around, they saw that those men were physically unharmed by the fire. The hair of their heads was not singed, nor were their trousers damaged. Not even the smell of fire was to be found on them!
  • Psalms 66:12 - You allowed men to ride over our heads; we passed through fire and water, but you brought us out into a wide open place.
  • Genesis 48:15 - Then he blessed Joseph and said, “May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked – the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,

  • Deuteronomy 4:20 - You, however, the Lord has selected and brought from Egypt, that iron-smelting furnace, to be his special people as you are today.
  • Exodus 3:6 - He added, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.
  • Mark 12:26 - Now as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
  • Exodus 7:7 - Now Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.

  • Isaiah 43:2 - When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you.
  • Exodus 3:1 - Now Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.
  • Exodus 3:2 - The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from within a bush. He looked – and the bush was ablaze with fire, but it was not being consumed!
  • Acts 7:35 - This same Moses they had rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge?’ God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
