  • Acts 5:19 - But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, and leading them out, he said,

  • Matthew 27:65 - Pilate said to them, “You have a guard [of soldiers]; go [with them], make the tomb as secure as you know how.”
  • Matthew 27:66 - So they went and made the tomb secure, and along with [stationing] a guard of soldiers [to be on watch] they set a seal on the stone.

  • Daniel 6:24 - The king then gave a command, and those men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and thrown into the den of lions, they, their children and their wives; and before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.
  • Psalms 2:4 - He who sits [enthroned] in the heavens laughs [at their rebellion]; The [Sovereign] Lord scoffs at them [and in supreme contempt He mocks them].
