Luke 22:53 - Day after day when I was with you in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power and authority of darkness are yours.”
Luke 22:54 - Then they seized Him, and led Him away and brought Him to the [elegant] house of the [Jewish] high priest. And Peter was following at a [safe] distance.
Luke 22:8 - So Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover meal for us, so that we may eat it.”
Matthew 26:71 - And when he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus the Nazarene.”
Matthew 26:57 - Those who had seized Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas, the high priest, where the scribes and the elders (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) had gathered [ illegally] together.
Matthew 26:58 - But Peter followed Him at a distance as far as the courtyard of the [elegant home of the Jewish] high priest, and went inside, and sat with the guards to see the outcome.
Matthew 4:18 - As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He noticed two brothers, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
Matthew 4:19 - And He said to them, “ Follow Me [as My disciples, accepting Me as your Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that I walk], and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 4:20 - Immediately they left their nets and followed Him [becoming His disciples, believing and trusting in Him and following His example].
Matthew 4:21 - And going on [further] from there He noticed two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets; and He called them [to follow Him as His disciples].
Matthew 4:22 - Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him [becoming His disciples, believing and trusting in Him and following His example].
Matthew 26:73 - After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them too; for even your [Galilean] accent gives you away.”
John 18:16 - but Peter was standing outside at the door. So the other disciple (John), who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper, and brought Peter inside.
John 18:17 - Then the servant girl who kept the door said to Peter, “You are not one of this Man’s disciples, are you?” He said, “I am not.”
Acts 2:7 - They were completely astonished, saying, “Look! Are not all of these who are speaking Galileans?

Acts 2:12 - And they were beside themselves with amazement and were greatly perplexed, saying one to another, “What could this mean?”
John 7:15 - Then the Jews were perplexed. They said, “How did this man become learned [so versed in the Scriptures and theology] without formal training?”
Matthew 11:25 - At that time Jesus said, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth [I openly and joyfully acknowledge Your great wisdom], that You have hidden these things [these spiritual truths] from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants [to new believers, to those seeking God’s will and purpose].
1 Corinthians 1:27 - But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty].
