- Acts 9:42 - This became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

- Acts 3:4 - Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
- Acts 3:5 - He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
- Acts 3:6 - But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
- Acts 3:7 - He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.
- Acts 3:8 - Leaping up, he stood and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
- Acts 3:9 - All the people saw him walking and praising God.
- Acts 3:10 - They recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
- John 6:5 - Jesus therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”

- Acts 8:20 - But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!
- Acts 8:21 - You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart isn’t right before God.
- Acts 8:22 - Repent therefore of this, your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
- Acts 8:23 - For I see that you are in the poison of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.”
- Acts 8:24 - Simon answered, “Pray for me to the Lord, that none of the things which you have spoken happen to me.”
- Acts 8:25 - They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the Good News to many villages of the Samaritans.
- Acts 15:7 - When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe.
- Acts 15:8 - God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.
